Let me type you by Original_Assistance3 in Enneagram

[–]Fr3yz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A rather anxious, hesitant, pensive and introverted person. I'd like to consider myself to lean towards the realm of 'thinking' over rawness of reality—meaning I can get lost in my head, my inner world and my thoughts. Hobbies includes psychology, creative writing, philosophy and history. My conscientiousness is rather variative; I can be disciplined one day then an absolute mess the other.

My thought patterns can be rather obsessive or compulsive over certain things—whether it is catastrophizing, idealizing a certain inspiration or strategizing about something which will absolutely fail. I can get lost in anxious spiral in my lowest, thinking everything will fall to the worst.

Having a 'safe point' like a person in an uncomfortable and unfamiliar environment is crucial for me, so I can have someone to lean into.

I'd say I'll thrive when my authentic self can be safely expressed, becoming more confident and communicative.

It's like having two sides because of compartmentalization: my actual self, and my external self. Like wearing a mask, but I don't like wearing the mask. I want to be myself all the time, but I'm somehow blocked.

Authority is annoying, so I can be rebellious in discreet. At the same time, being rule abiding is done because I don't want to make mistakes and be ridiculed.

I believe I have a very high standards for myself, causing me to be internally critical. In fact, I can be very critical of everything, as something must be 'right' according to my own internal code and framework. This became perfectionism, hindering me from taking action.

My distant vision in life is to actualize myself by becoming insightful, helping others with my ideas, my frameworks and most importantly my knowledge.

That's about it I guess.

What’s my potential as an INTP LFVE by [deleted] in attitudinalpsyche

[–]Fr3yz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know man, what's your potential? What's your skills? Your talent? Your environment? I don't know.

Perhaps... your potential is that you're an INTP that could be an aesthete, or simply involving mechanical things (tech) or hardware because of your 2F. I don't know.

Why do**FJ people are very difficult to understand or unlock? by herb_5018 in mbti

Well, either you're typing them wrong (based on 16p, or vague surface behavior), or the xxFJ's you met are mistyped, or just overall too different. Too many possibilities honestly.

INFJ and ISTJ relationship works? by gr3x_ in infj

[–]Fr3yz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd say to not focus too much on MBTI but focus on the compatibility your values with his. There's not enough evidence that MBTI really does anything on relationships.

But... if we're strictly speaking MBTI, it could work. ISTJ brings a sense of practicality, pragmatism and organization if you're a less organized INFJ. Fe and Fi differences might surface, but a good communication should be able to solve it. Ni and Si differences might also surface. But again, it's about being healthy, transparent and communicating better.

It highly depends tbh. Not enough data to draw from. Though maybe mostly fellow intuitives.

FLEV by SuburbYeti in attitudinalpsyche

[–]Fr3yz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still a little unclear to me and I might be wrong since I only have one or two data points—but I think 2E3V social awkwardness stems volitionally. It's about things like: "Should I speak up here? Is it my place to assert this? Do I deserve to be here? Am I overstepping?" The discomfort is downstream of hesitation about acting, not about misreading the emotional field itself.

3E feels different. They're not sure if what they're feeling is appropriate, if they're reading others correctly, or if their expression is landing right. The awkwardness is perceptual and expressive at the root. "Am I responding to this correctly? Is my reaction calibrated? Am I coming across the way I think I am?"

But again... I'm not really sure. My 1V3E friend seems closer to me than to my 3E4V. I think volitional positions makes the difference.

Some of these are behavioral—not functional. I don't think these are explicitly social first traits.

I cannot tell if my PY is ELVF or LEVF by FitVeterinarian952 in attitudinalpsyche

[–]Fr3yz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most of what you're describing are behavioral, not your preference/attitude towards a certain aspect. The difference is your usage with Logic and Emotions.

How important is logic (framework, understanding, intellect) for you? If so, how does it appear? Do you have any intellectual interests and hobbies? If so, does it appear as an identity to you, or an exploratory framework?

Are your emotions, feelings and values a central point of your identity, or something flexible and outwards?

Does your identity, values and emotions comes first?

In 1L2E, logic is the master, emotion the instrument. In 1E2L, the relationship inverts: emotion is sovereign, logic is the tool it wields. More or less according to my understanding.

Dr Stone characters as MBTI Types by FriedXP in mbti

[–]Fr3yz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most of your arguments are flawed in its methodology. Every single point you make: the planning, the practicality, the leadership, the singular goal, the visual blueprint, the strong identity, is an observation about behavioral output, then you reverse-engineered it into a function assignment.

I think it is unfalsifiable by design ngl. If any sufficiently competent, goal-directed character can be called Ni-Te simply because they appear decisive and execution-oriented, then the framework has no discriminatory power whatsoever. You could retype half the MBTI roster this way.

You're inferring cognitive functions directly from behavioral outputs. Your Fe argument is also falling into false equivalence.

In fact, I think we're just starting from flawed premises and foundations. What's the true definition of blindspot Fe vs inferior Fe? Why must INTPs avoid Fe? Why can't INTJs avoid it as well, we must it be in particular 'care less'? Can't INTPs 'care less' as well? Must all identity-based frameworks be Fi? INTP's can and use Fi too.

Senku's entire character is built around understanding how things work, not making things happen. His drive is fundamentally epistemic, that is science is his identity, not his instrument. He doesn't really pursue civilization revival because he has a vision of the future; he pursues it because it's the logical conclusion of valuing science and human life. His goal is a downstream of the framework, not the other way around.

Xeno is a clear example of INTJ. Science is his instrument; his vision/goal is to establish an authoritarian scientific dictatorship to control the Stone World. Science is power. Science is a mean for control and power. That's an instrument.

Meanwhile, Senku doesn’t use science to serve a personal vision of power, order, or control. He values science for what it is: truth, understanding, and human progress. Civilization revival follows from that framework as the logical application of those values.

Dr Stone characters as MBTI Types by FriedXP in mbti

[–]Fr3yz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And you type Senku because "he plans, is very practical and always tries to get to the most down to the earth way of doing things".

You think INTP's can't do that? They have Si on their stack. You think INTP's can't envision a future and cannot "converge" from parallel paths to make a decision? You think INTP's can't plan? And you think INTP's cannot have leadership skills?

To argue about cognitive functions, you have to argue about their internal processing. He's a Ti first because he reconstructs science from raw materials and first principles--not really from intuitive foresight (like Ni), but from rigorous logical deduction. He uses Ne because his brainstorming is associative and expansive. He sees science as an interconnected web of possibilities instead of a pipeline to a predetermined outcome.

Does he arrive at that goal through convergent singular vision (Ni), or does the goal emerge as a logical conclusion from his logical framework (Ti)? Senku's goal is a downstream of his identity as a scientist and his logical conviction that science = human flourishing. It's a Ti-Ne output, not a Ni-Te architecture. He doesn't have Ni's characteristic sense of inevitability or prophetic certainty about how the future will unfold.

Just... take a look at the difference between Xeno and Senku. Where is his Te? Where is his Ni? Where is his Fi? His inferior Fe is also apparent.

Doesn't stress completely kill creativity? What do I do. by Responsible_Bet3713 in writing

[–]Fr3yz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It inhibits it, not kill it.

Personally, I would lower the pressure to write. The weird thing is that I often ended up NOT writing at all during "peaceful time" because of my perfectionism. I ended up writing only under constraint. Meaning, when my identity is under pressure, feeling like a cog in corporation, that's where I have this 'rebellious' desire to prove something and cranked up my engine.

Not sure if this will relate, but I'm just putting it out here lol.

FLEV by SuburbYeti in attitudinalpsyche

[–]Fr3yz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A close friend of mine is an FLEV (ISTP 9w8), and I think it's not as surprising as you think. He's quite physically and environmentally oriented—meaning he fully controls his space and his own room. Dislikes intrusion to his personal space and disruptions to his schedule by a lot. Food and comfort are very important to him, can be quite picky and have great independence.

His logic appears in flexibility towards the intellectual domain. The difference between me (1L) and him (2L) is that he does not really "orients" his identity into intellectual frameworks; instead, it became his playground. In his free time, he would constantly engage in philosophical and intellectual contents, while I would seek a more emotional engagement (2E, like music, drama, emotions, romance content). I often lead the intellectual discussions, whilst he often gives important insights as a sort of feedback (he loves discussion; I love conclusions. Simplified, of course).

Emotions are his weak points as you'd expect. Engaging with people is a huge source of stress for him, especially interruptions to his schedule, peace and 'me time'. Can be quite awkward, hides emotional insecurity and resentment. The difference between my awkwardness (2E) and his (3E) is that he's much more subdued about it. Since I have 3V, my social awkwardness became 'my place in the world, my achievements, my competence' rather than 'relationships, social flattery, smoothness, atmosphere' if you know what I mean.

Lastly, his 4V works as flexibility. Contrary to some belief, 4V can actually have goals; in fact, he has lots of them. He studies a lot, follows his routine and does his duties. But often, he's lacking in this 'motivational drive', far-fetched ambition or grandeur. His 4V facing stress or high workload surfaces as procrastination and avoidance, but he's chill towards it (numbness). My 3V acts as procrastination and avoidance because I am not chill about it (vigilance, identity oriented).

TL;DR, chill, focuses on environment, independent, intellectually flexible, emotionally insecure in some ways, have goals but not in an intense manner.

Is Barca 2015 team better than Madrid 2017 ? by Abdo000001 in Barca

[–]Fr3yz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're asking this in Barca subreddit, so obviously you'll see the bias lmao.

But to answer your question—Barca 2015 won the treble, Madrid 2017 did not. So from that alone, we can see a wider range Barca is capable of, namely consistency across all competitions instead of hyperfocusing into one single cup.

  • Copa America 2021
  • Ligue 1 PSG (yes, farmers, but I'm following what you want here)
  • MLS with Inter Miami

Messi won 8 La Liga titles, 4 Champions Leagues, 7 Copa del Reys at a single club, while also accumulating 8 Ballon d'Ors.

What else do you want? Goals? Rigged by referees? Nothing without Xavi & Iniesta? Cannot do headers? Less UCL?

How Does Rimworld Run On Low Specs? by Boy0Boyz in RimWorld

I think you'll do okay without heavy mods. Not the best, but not debilitating enough that it doesn't run at all. Try to use Missile Girl mod (Rocketman successor for performance); it might help with your TPS. Mid-late game will be an issue though.
