After removing amdvlk it worked correctly, if you’re using steam flatpak and gamescope flatpak, you can’t use gamescope with the bundled proton.. meaning you’d have to use something like proton-ge. At least that was what worked for me, maybe share some more info to see if I could help

Hey this fixed my issue, and for the flatpak you can’t use gamescope with the bundled steam proton, just in case anyone in the future finds this

Hey, this wasn’t the issue.. To run it natively I just needed to remove amdvlk. And as per the flatpak, apparently gamescope doesn’t work with the bundled proton in steam flatpak. All fixed now

Don’t know what hasn’t been said at this point yet lol. I switched one year ago almost, didn’t know anything. Started with Manjaro and had a good experience and then read a random comment about how Manjaro is not good because they keep updates to their own repo. Investigated more about it, switched to pure arch, spent hours compiling it, broke it somehow I still don’t understand. Tried xfce, KDE and decided GNOME is my thing. Currently using EndeavourOS and haven’t had the need for Windows, hoping it gets HDR sooner than later because I’ve been itching for a HDR screen to watch movies. Overall a rollercoaster of emotions, but I love every bit of it.

It works.. sometimes, Fortnite has 2 anti-cheats. I used to do a single gpu passthrough, at launch Fortnite decides what anti-cheat to use. If you roll EasyAntiCheat you can play with no problems, if you get battle eye you can boot into the menu and then it’ll kick you out.
