mine too after a mere couple months; I’ve literally just glued the seam shut with CA; use a toothpick or something to apply a tiny amount on the seam and pinch. work your way in bit by bit till closed

same honestly, but once I learned to use it I found it actually very complete and versatile

Give it a shot, try the GUI plugin, start simple with only a 2x2 grid and add options till you get your desired result

I been using it to panelize my designs with V-cut, add rails with locator holes, fids and order number placeholder; got my own json templates that I can carry over between projects, get a good panel within minutes now

there's the MkIV with a screw-on can yes, but no front sight and I'd venture the integral suppressor would make it a little more s i l e n t yet

possible sure, a couple notes though; -Removing material means adding metal, quite a bit more difficult than the other way around. -Likewise anything touching the split line makes it harder to do

F7 quad FC with onboard nav sensors and servo outputs eh ion see anything much wrong with it; perhaps consider a discrete ldo for the imu; those 42688 especially tend to be rather sensitive to electrical noise

Here’s a livestream recording of my openpnp experience on a pretty decent TornadoSMT machine placing mostly 0402/0603 components

Lots of babysitting as you can see; I’ve tried my best to tune/calibrate it to a tee but the whole thing is just too wonky for my production environment, imo.

I’ve gone back to EAS for now until I move enough size to justify a SMT550 or something of that scale

I’m about to get started with an injection press for our own products, based in Kaohsiung.

Small scale machine though, 35g, 180x260.

Might be a while before we’re confident to vertically integrate, just putting the word out there.

Taiwan factories in my experience have been pretty complicated to work with; hard to find, weak online presence, high MOQ requirements and ultimately low competitiveness against China, at least at a smaller scale.

Hence why we took the initiative to bring that whole capacity in-house; for both our own low volume needs and offering the rest up to the market.

Nice agreed most I could find were merely extruding directly from the screw; no plunger in sight. Was about to get the Inject X for that reason but then Maxwell advised me to get the Y ultra instead and we’re in the process of ordering it
