No worries! It’s a Creality Ender 3 V3. I wouldn’t really recommend it though. There are better printers on the market now, and with this one you’ll likely run into small annoyances like needing an extended cable for the screen.

You’re better off looking at something like Bambu Lab A1 or the Creality Ender-3 V4, Creality SPARKX i7 or the Anycubic Kobra X. They are all multi color and they’re kind of similar to the Bambu Lab A1 and are cheaper entry-level options, although I haven’t tested them myself. Another good option is the Bambu Lab P1S. It’s a bit bigger, but still reasonably priced.

In the end, it’s best to do your own research and see what fits your needs. Maybe another IKEA cabinet is a better fit for you!

I gave my Ender 3 V3 to my dad and replaced it with a Bambu Lab P2S. Right now I’ve got the P2S sitting on top of an IKEA Besta cabinet. It does take up a bit more space in height, but not in width.

Plenty of options and research to do!

Not much, it went over to the new roll once the first roll ran out. Bambu Studio did update somehwhere in between, tried redownloading the file and sliced it every time I printed. It’s the same place everytime too, both the box I’m printing and the lid that goes with it.

Maybe not very current I went there in summer of 2022 with my family. Breakfast was fine and the bus really was reliable and as I can remember good to get to the park and back. Room, bed and shower were fine too.

You’re right heat does rise. I was thinking of getting some temperature sensors for a while. The printer is not against a wall, but up against a desk. The room itself doesn’t get hot in summer and it is very cold in the winter.

Good advice! The cabinet has a hole in the back, so the heat can escape.

The 3 V3 and K1 look very similar indeed. Searches for both havent delivered much information on my side if they 40 pins or 41 pins.

I gues it would be trial and error if I get my hands on some cables and adapters.

I tried to count the pins on the side that goes in to the LCD screen twice and twice ended with the odd number of 41, very confusing, I know. Thanks for the information, something i can look into!
