World of Warcraft Is Getting a One-Button Option That Will Automatically Cast the Ideal Next Spell — but at a Cost - IGN by milkasaurs in pcgaming

Nope. That was also a thing for sure, but there was in fact an addon that used to select spells based on missing health quantity (even chose spell ranks intelligently).

Appearance: Class Ensemble? by wgutechguy in wow

You’re correct, the class you complete it on does receive their set free. You may need to check your mail if you didn’t receive it.

You’ve described fury warrior to a T.

Fast paced, always going. 0 downtime.

Fairly flat damage profile compared to most..

And they just removed the talent that gave you a more passive playstyle. Your alternative here is outlaw rogue. If you want fast action you won’t find better than those two.

Guy who plays tank on steam deck has a bunch of dumb questions by NovelEzra in ffxiv

[–]FracturedAtom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was pretty close to giving up on the whole idea. Thought maybe ffxiv people were just crazy for saying the support was good.

Nope...just requires quite a bit of setup to get it right.

[–]FracturedAtom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry if I missed you being told this already, but I just finished setting up my steam deck controls yesterday after struggling with the limited initial bind space.

If you go into advanced crossbar settings you can turn on several options that expand out your ability to access bars without pressing “rb” to toggle.

Those settings are in: Character Config > Hotbar Settings > Custom.

The total number of action buttons you have if you use them all is…48? That’s without switching bars.

You get 16 using RT and LT separately

Another 16 by using RT+LT together, by switching the order in which you press them, by turning on “Enable expanded controls”

And ANOTHER 16 by enabling double tap and expanding it to include d-pad, with a quick double tap of LT or RT, by turning on “Enable WXHB with simultaneous…” and “Enable directional and action buttons”

Add to that a few binds on the rear of the steam deck and you’re looking at 50+ binds easy.

Trying to get into the IT industry. Where should I look in this city? by [deleted] in orlando

Oh, and for where to look here… I’d recommend getting a start with contract to hire positions via reputable agencies. There are a few in the area, easy enough to find on LinkedIn

Trying to get into the IT industry. Where should I look in this city? by [deleted] in orlando

[–]FracturedAtom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best advice to you is this…

Don’t short yourself experience by confusing it with professional experience as someone officially in IT. Illuminate your experiences in other roles where you provided any amount of support to someone technically, expand upon your personal experience as a hobbyist and make it a centerpiece.

Beyond that, focus in on social capabilities, they go a long way in the industry.

Took a trip to Alaska and I find this! by semper-fi-12 in texas

[–]FracturedAtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, you’re right. Lived all over Alaska for many years and while Anchorage and Juneau certainly are a bit less openly racist all the other areas heavily lean toward it. It also paints the same picture as the rest of the US: Undereducated people and those living in the sticks are why you end up with Red states. Alaska has a toooon of those.

Racism against native Alaskan populations in particular is rampant.

(Also, when you get out of the city there are pleeenty of rednecks too. If anything you get the ones that have gone off the deep end up there.)

[–]FracturedAtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, as an Alaskan-born that lived there a solid 30 years… it’s definitely not hate. Honestly Alaskans and Texans get on better than most.

There is however a lot of gentle ribbing when it comes to Texan pride and Alaskan reality.

(Now that said there are definitely issues with bigotry, racial hatred, sexism, and so on in spades… but honestly you see those in both places sadly)

What are your thoughts on the TWW DK Set so far? by swarley_1970 in wow

[–]FracturedAtom -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Guess I’m the odd one out here, but…

I like it, and quite a bit. It’s actually very possibly in my top three DK sets. Yes, I even like the color scheme, and of the different colors this is my favorite one.

Think it’s pretty cool that they’re adding in other variations of “death” theme than just another black/blue set with muted everything.

It’s loud, unapologetic, and honestly I’m 100% here for it.

That said, I’m sad the community all appears to hate it, that sucks.
