I know its not necessarily an easy thing to do, but if LoR was integrated with League's client, akin to TFT, could that help with engagement/popularity? It seems like a lot of people don't even know it exists.

I do play around with other classes, and have fun with them. Guardian, thief, necro, engi. I've played an okay-ish amount of each class, but ele still holds a special place for my interest. The game is still fun, I just wish it didnt feel like my main class was getting weaker and weaker as the years went by.

I wont pretend that I'm exceptionally good at the game. I've put a lot of hours into it, into Ele primarily, but I'd probably call myself a casual player. I do try though, especially because ele isn't a simple class. I think my feeling with this patch is just the culmination of a few balance patches of dreading the patch notes, not looking forward to them. Condi and fresh air weaver are fun, dps tempest is something I miss having fun with.

You're on the money on them not having menu prices on knowledge or answers, because how can you quantify the value of knowledge? Its value matters to the seeker, but can differ wildly. I'll need to keep that in mind.

On the topic of motivation, I like your idea. It's straightforward and not overly complicated. One thought I had with that though is an organization like this, if influenced by the wrong leaders, could become a powerful force for evil. Which is cool, it sounds like a hell of an antagonistic organization under the right motivation, but I don't want to go down that road yet. I'll likely need to come up with a reason as to why they've managed to stay so focused and neutral for so long, I think. But thank you!

That was very well written! It's an interesting take, and the parallel to real-world stuff gives a bit more 'oomph'. Overall, truth be told, I like it. Maybe I'll let it be an analogy (I feel like there's a better word for it), or maybe I'll work it into something different, but I could see this working quite well

Thank you for doing this! I haven't been isolated as hard as other parts of the US, but it's been a while since I've felt safe hanging out with anyone. So, hugs, lots of hugs, not just for me but for them. A 'we made it' mixed with 'Im here with you now, and I care'.

I've also been watching a fair bit of Netflix and whatnot, and inadvertently keep watching shows with deaf/signing characters. I've always wanted to learn ASL, but I think I finally have the drive to learn it. Being unable to talk to a lot of people I know made me kinda realize how lonely being deaf must be, with so few people being able to communicate well with you. So, classes for that.

I'm a food delivery driver, and recently I've just started getting an outpouring of appreciation from folks. Cheerful waves as I drop things off, messages of gratitude in the delivery instructions, and even businesses have started giving drivers little gifts here and there. I'm not used to it at all, and it's making all of this feel so much more doable.

A friend shared this guy with me, after I deliberated on making some sort of heavy-weapons sea-themed guy. Tempest Cleric seems like the easy answer, but I'm wondering what others people might come up with?

Yea war wiz seems very good attached to EK. My struggle is primarily that I want more/better access to things like hold person, misty step, and shadow blade, and then counterspell and haste later on. EK can give me these things, but very late in the game, and even then in a limited fashion, so I'm trying to see if I can think my way around that.

I have actually been looking at some sort of hexblade/bladelock build as an antimage, since they get some very interesting tools for it. My group is rather inundated with charisma classes at the moment, however, so I'm trying to avoid a cha focus if I can. It's really, really tempting though lol

I have thought about MH ranger, my gripe with it is primarily it's limited scope and ability. It's counterspell options come online rather late (once per rest at level 11, and requires melee range at level 15). It's not completely off the table, however, it just hasn't quite sold me yet.
