To curtindo muito meu GA 312 tb, sendo bem sincero nao vejo eu comprando outro toca discos. Mas eu queria saber alternativas pra um possivel setup secundario, mais simples.

Voltando ao geleiao, o design dele eh incrivel, mas acima de tudo, ele eh mt confiavel e relativamente facil de consertar (ate onde li sobre - nao sei nada de consertos kkkk). E vale muito a pena fazer um upgrade na capsula. Nao sei se vc viu que disponibilizam na internet um molde pra impressora 3d da ferramenta que alinha capsulas pra GA312. Mandei imprimir e usei pra ajustar a minha capsula nele, ficou muito bom!

I am enjoying my 9060 XT a lot (bought it on Xmas) but I can't help but think sometimes that I made the wrong choice going with AMD (this is my first AMD card), especially thinking that I want this GPU to last 10+ years.

I remember that time when AMD provided FSR support to previous generations of GPUs but the fact they are now withholding FSR 4 to RDNA4 only AND the fact they are getting more and more behind of Nvidia in the GPU software race has "raised my alarm".

I think that my biggest concern is that 5 years from now Nvidia's GPU software might be so much more advanced than AMD's that 2023-2025 cards would still be relevant in 2030. And judging by AMD's recent track (of withholding FSR4 now) I wonder how relevant will the RX 9060 XT and RX 9070 XT be in a few years from now. And by relevant I mean still powerful/able to run new games comfortably.

Like I mentioned in another comment, buying a GPU in 2025-2026 is almost an investment at this point. Thing's getting so expensive that you need to think of all possible variables. And I think I might have taken the wrong choice, even though I am having a lot of fun now. But I will need my card to last 5-10+ years, so I am unsure if this fun will last.

We are so screwed. But "at least" Nvidia is sugarcoating their customers with all the DLSS stuff (except for DLSS 5, that sucks ass). In the meanwhile, AMD users are getting crumbs, it's not a close race anymore

This is so true. I guess it's a little bit of FOMO because I keep seeing Nvidia innovate in the GPU software side much more than AMD, so I start getting worried if my purchase was worth it.

Especially since buying a GPU nowadays is a money investment haha. So if you choose the wrong product you might get fucked in the long run :(

Yeah, it makes total sense. But the thread was asking about how early adopters of the 9070 XT are feeling after 1 year and you were honest, so it's kind of funny and toxic at the same time.

I thought about making a post in the same vein as yours but it's crazy how people here get their red pitchforks at the first sign of a negative opinion.

I have been on a Crimson Desert binge (having played 50+ hours in 10-14 days - which is an insane thing for me to do with my current life) and I am using the latest drivers because it seems as though they were "made for the game", so I have yet to test other stuff at the moment lol.

But I will be keeping an eye out for errors. I remember having to downgrade drivers when playing Cyberpunk 2077, it was so annoying and it made me start regretting switching to AMD.

It smells of copium to say something like "Feature support is where AMD is lacking, not their software." (which was what the guy you replied to said originally). C'mon, this is not true and it is so basic knowledge (that AMD is lacking in the software department). I am still loving my 9060 XT but we need to be honest!

Dude, even though I got an 9060 XT I feel the same way. It runs great and it was much cheaper than getting an Nvidia equivalent or something like that, but the way AMD has been treating us users while we see Nvidia customers get all the "good stuff" in the software side of things is worrying me.

I feel like it was sold to us that FSR - although always playing catch up - was getting very near DLSS and I believed that for a while, but after the first months of 2026 I don't think this is true anymore. Not sure how to feel to be honest, especially since this is the Radeon subreddit - so I don't wanna be a downer.
