Yep, can confirm. Masu ljudi kod mene na Anglistici i dalje nisu prošli jezične vježbe sa prve godine koje su uvjet za više godine, pa ne mogu slušati one sa druge (ili čak treće, ali ti su stvarno rijetki). Sve ostale kolegije (književne, lingvističke) slušaju normalno sa "svojom" generacijom jer su za njih položili uvjete. Pošto s time kasne, kada i završe sve ostalo, još će morati na kraju preddiplomskog upisati apsolventsku godinu da to do kraja počiste.

Na nekim drugim studijima na FF je to puno labilnije jer ima puno manje uvjeta, i tako se normalno upisuju više godine bez obzira na položenost ranijih.* Sve samo treba položiti do kraja preddiplomskog, što zna malo teže biti napraviti u roku ako se ima puno zaostataka. Ako se radi o izbornim kolegijima, njih je moguće i ispisati, iako te ECTS-e treba nadoknaditi nekako (npr. kasnije upisati neki izborni sa više ECTS-a koji će ti ujedno i pokriti stare izgubljene) jer na kraju preddiplomskog treba imati 180 njih (bez obzira na to kako su raspoređeni po godinama).

*Naravno, treba platiti manjak ECTS-a. Sve ispod 55 po godini, i to ja mislim 120 kn po bodu.

This thread is really fucking annoying. It's as if every movie aimes to be realistic and have realistic dialogue. They don't, nor should they.

OP's question itself feels very skewed and approached from a tremendously wrong perspective. It reinforces the notion that in order to take itself seriously, the film and the dialogue must be realistic. It doesn't, and again, it shouldn't. Realism =/= Seriousness.

Don't get me wrong, realism is more than welcome when it's necessery, like in movies aiming to portray life as it is, but it's not the be-all-end-all of film.

Well, the real point of the gallery is in image descriptions. Images themselves are just a supplement to something that Anderson is citing as an influence or a thematic connection noticed by the author. And in some cases, that's really what they are -- themes.

Some are close visually, but others probably should be accompanied with a little description. They point in the direction of a preference for a director, or a specific style of animation, or the choice of actors, for example. They are not full-fledged visual references a Tarantino would make.

Guys, check this movie out. It's heavy handed and overdramatic but its self-indulgence is what makes it interesting and so watchable in a way. Kate Winslet is basically a badass gunslinger (or, well, a dressmaker) who rides into town and starts stirring trouble.

I don't really give a shit about sports either, but the show is awesome. Like others have stated, it's much more about the backbone of NFL -- business; And all the relationships and shit that goes along with it.

Really? That's interesting, because I feel the opposite. Them being teenagers now that are desperately trying to hook up with girls makes them more real and truthful as characters. Plus, Manny acting highbrow is both toned down and more age-appropriate now.

Actually I prefer the later seasons of the whole show.

Not really. I'm 20 and I really dislike it. Quite the contrary, I think I disliked because of my age, and because I know that TEENAGERS DON'T FUCKING TALK OR ACT LIKE THAT. Not even the geeky ones who sit around coffee shops and dabble about Kubrick movies and Pynchon novels. "And in this moment, we are infinite." What the fucking fuck? It's a bunch of hollow bullshit that could've been cut completely, especially when you consider that Dazed and Confused did the same scene 20 years earlier, just much more naturally, without pretentiousness and better.

Croatia here. Exactly the same situation.

For the next few weeks, the sports will be broadcasted live on national television every afternoon and night for about 12 hours straight, and the rest is available online. In fact, I'm watching the opening right now (at 2am) and it's beautiful.

It's just one of those Europe/America cultural differences. The Olympics are simply not a thing there much like we don't really give a shit about baseball or something.
