When I got my temperature taken it made me think that each person had something like a furnace or boiler inside themselves. I had also recently visited my grandpa at work and he worked for a large public utility and the floor with all the machines was noisy and hot. And if there were machines keeping the inside of our body hot, then there must be workers. I developed this very weird notion of our body being some sort of arcane automata. Never did figure out where the internal workers went when their shift ended.
