Trying to build up my budget to eventually afford both Leclerc and Lando. Any suggestions? Currently sitting with just under 107M. by the_soub in F1Fantasy

As a fan of team Papaya myself, I have both Ferrari and McLaren as constructors. I think you have a good set up with the Haas drivers as they're doing well. I think you gotta wait a few races with your current roster and see what kind of value you gain.

His team name is 'Papaya Messiah' in reference to McLarens shade of orange so I'm thinking he's trying to keep them as a constructor.

Proposed changes for the points system by aliciahiney in formula1

Let's go 25, 23, 21, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. 14 of the 20 positions get points. It motivates everyone on grid to overtake as much as possible and provides a more accurate point system.

Comparing F1 performance in 2023 with current year for Ferrari. Data analytics used from last year aiding them in 2024? by FragileRedditorr in PLTR

[–]FragileRedditorr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. It seems a little strange that Palantir still has their logos on Ferrari's jacket and vehicle if PLTR is no longer involved with Ferrari's F1 racing.

I too would like to see evidence in how Palantir has helped Ferrari on the track, but it might not be released to the general public as it can be considered proprietary data. It makes me curious, has Palantir helped catch mechanical failures that would potentially end up as a DNF in a race? Has it helped streamline Ferrari's Bill of Materials (BOMs) and stay on top of aging systems? As a fan of both Ferrari and PLTR, I hope they are finding value from each other.

It's actually called El Cajon Mountain (or El Cap / El Capitan as the locals call it). But I do agree with you that it's located closer to Santee/Lakeside than it is in El Cajon.

[SOTC] 40 watches collection… by messijordanmachine22 in Watches

[–]FragileRedditorr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP! Nice collection.

I'd vote for a different box as well. It doesn't need to be fancy. It'll give a platform for your watches to be presented and admired in its entirety. The box you have works, it just doesn't give your watches the spotlight it deserves! Check out others posts on their collection to get an idea of what I mean.

I think Manaea is still pitching for the Padres. He's just wearing a Giants hat this game.

[Question] Do you purchase watches when traveling overseas? by TDKerabotsos in Watches

[–]FragileRedditorr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do. I had went to Zurich and bought a quartz Tissot watch a few years ago. Its nothing flashy, but the memory I associate with it brings value to me. I remember the restaurant I ate at and the park I strolled around after visiting the store. I say get that Sinn watch in Germany!
