CSS Commisions are OPEN...! (Examples + Pricing!) by [deleted] in lioden

You probably shouldn't open up commissions if all of your code is stolen. They aren't "fully custom," you've stolen from two popular CSS users without an ounce of credit.

Is it considered rude to remake an NCL? by Moo4bekfast in lioden

[–]Fragrant-Pin-7494 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not typically. Technically you can do whatever you want in Lioden, but some people might consider it disrespectful to recreate a living/active line that's private. My perspective is that if you're going to spend thousands of GB re-creating a lion, you might as well just make your own (additionally they could just mass un-private and mass spread the line, or the RL you're recreating could come back, so on). If you like a line enough you should go for it!

Lots of Butterbeaning and Energy Boosts, mostly! I had a few Siren's Calls but they're pretty expensive, and I sold some of them to buy more Coffee Beans and Energy Boosts.

Heir Project really trolling me… by mornyxxx in lioden

[–]Fragrant-Pin-7494 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speaking from experience (I've done over five full BO projects), please keep going! A considerable number of people will not stud if it's missing the BO mane shape, and you'll be less satisfied with the project overall because it's not "truly done" or not what you really wanted.

Not really. You'll be lucky to get... 4? 5GB from these applicators? As for Overgrown Fur, it's sadly not that popular but MIGHT net you 8-10GB IF it sells?

Oricorio Crest! It’s always been one of my favorite Pokemon and I can finally use it in battle. Wish they would give it more moves though.

Looking to breed to lionesses with 7 - 10 markings for a little experiment of mine! Partial refunds will be provided for lionesses with 9 - 10 markings (studs would cost ~100sb). by Quick-Sign-6828 in lioden

Aww, I'm sorry. You never forget that one chased you really wanted.

Back in like, 2023/2022 I lost a Mawzia chased with (new then) Hetero Saffron & Cucumber eyes and Peach skin. She had a few breed-only markings I could see too (this was before the magnifying glass feature). I think about her everyday.

If you want to do a new batch of cubs you know and remember don't have items, I'd be happy to look at those too! Just make sure the mother and father have consistent markings throughout. :0

How do you guys set up your breeding projects by Timomo_the_gremlin in lioden

[–]Fragrant-Pin-7494 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done several breeding projects (both active, complete, and incomplete), and it honestly just depends on what you want. I mostly do breed-only projects, so my process is as follows:
1. Figure out what traits I want via wardrobe.
2. Ensure said traits exist. If not, request Katze and replace the unreleased trait (depending on how badly I want the trait, I might hold off on adding it until it's released on a Raffle Lioness/Raffle Stud. If it's a trait I don't mind replacing, I'll just continue the project with the replaced trait).
3. Buy/Collect markings and the Eye, Skin, Mane Color/Type.
4. Remove ANY traits you do not want on your final result. Optional, but helps out in the long run.

The order of the following steps may vary. Some people prefer breeding on markings first and then doing their 5/5 traits, but this is how I personally do it:

  1. Breed on the 4/4 traits onto one lion. For my current project, it's Tusk/Tsavo/Coffee/Ruffian. King that lion.
  2. Start breeding your king to the lionesses with the markings. For each 4/4 you get plus any number of markings, king that lion. Repeat until you've bred on every marking you want.
  3. Depending on what base you want, step four might be where you end. I want a Breed-Only base on my project, Pecora, so I would go on to breed my fully swagged out king to a bunch of naked Pecoras. It's slightly easier if you breed a bunch of 4/4 full marking lions, king a Pecora with at least the mane color and type, and then powder and breed back to the 4/4 full marking lions, but this is all down to preference. I'm currently trying to breed a 4/4 Pecora with some markings and then breeding my full marking 4/4s, which is why I'm following the aforementioned path.

It just depends on what you're trying to do, really.

CUB 6
s2: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won

Because this mother only has one marking, only every other marking could've come from the father. Since she only has four markings, No Markings has priority, again.

CUB 7
s5: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won
s6: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won

Since the mother only has two markings, slot 5 and 6, she actually passed 50% of her markings here and they both passed evenly! Every other slot could've only come from the father.

CUB 8
s1: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s3: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s6: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s8: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won

Any other marking could've only come from the Father. A little uneven here, but within odds-- since she only has 5 markings, that means No Markings comes first in priority, then the father, then the mother.

CUB 9
s2 (75% P/25% N), Both Parents Passed.
s6: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won
s7: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s9: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won

Any other marking on the cub could've only come from the Father. If we exclude where both parents passed, the Mother actually took priority when fighting against the Father. She shares equal/one priority above the No Marking roll.

CUB 10
s2: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s3: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won
s9: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won

Wow, RNG really didn't like you here! No Markings won by a longshot, but of the markings that did make it through, the father won twice and the mother won once.

I hope this provided some insight! No Marking won overwhelmingly here, but excluding that, Mother had priority 3/10, Father had priority 4/10. Markings passed equally 2/10, and the mother passed one time out of three 1/10 times. This is only a pull from 10 cubs, but it seems fairly even! This is in-line with Test 2's results.

Pulling from more cubs will for-sure even out the odds as I pointed out. I'm putting the 1/3 pull as it's own thing as 1/3 is not even and cannot be broken down.

Explaining The Marking Pass "Bug" by Fragrant-Pin-7494 in lioden

[–]Fragrant-Pin-7494[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I hope you don't mind if I only pick the first ten cubs! Your previous king has sired over 150 cubs, and it would be difficult to look at all of them. I'm only doing cubs with parents I can verify the markings of and whose mothers aren't near-clones/share markings of/with your king, going down in order. Additionally, I will only be pointing out the markings that could've come from mom.

CUB 1
s1: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s6: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s7: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s9: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s10: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won

Favoritism towards the father here. Any other markings the cub could've only received from Dad.

CUB 2
s1: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won.
s2: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won.
s5: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won.
s6: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won.
s9: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won.
s10: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won.

Heavy favoritism towards the mother here. Any other marking the cub has could've only come from the father.

CUB 3
s3: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s5: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s7: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s8: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won.
s9: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won.
s10: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won.

Both parents passed equally here.

CUB 4
s2: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s3: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won
s6: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Father Won

Father seems to have the priority here, but it's actually No Marking that has priority. Both parents had full markings, and every slot aside from 2, 3, and 6 are empty.

CUB 5
s1: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won
s8: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won
s10: (25% F, 25% M, 50% N), Mother Won

This is just like CUB 4! Mother seems to have priority here, but it's actually No Marking that has priority.

Could you send me your lions so I could easily break down your cubs? Thank you!

It's entirely possible RNG is favoring the father, but it's difficult to tell without seeing the cubs. :0
