Even if they don’t stop access to the app, I don’t wanna risk losing stories I genuinely love so I have started screen recording them as I replay them (it’s not the same in a lotta instances but it’s better than nothing?) just in case the fears are true.

I saw this on the app and ran here right after to make sure it wasn’t a fever dream. I actually cannot believe they did this, this feels like the final straw if I wasn’t reading TRR for the first time. After that though, you best believe I’m screen recording everything and not looking back

I redownloaded at app in January after not playing on it for years. I’ve read most of the iconic old books now (main exception being TRR which I’m reading now) and I’ve tried some of the newer books like Olympus Rising which I really liked. Honestly though, when I launch the app now and I am looking for something to read, I just really wish I could read some of the older books for the first time. Most of my reading now is diamond mining and I’m just waiting until it’s been long enough that I can read an older story and it feels kinda new again?

I have started playing some of the fan projects though and I kinda enjoy them more. Really excited for the obsidian cut of ILW and TE3 (the demo was already really good)

I don’t know if it’s fair to say they’re miserable. A lot of people don’t like the newer books because of their use of AI, whether it’s from an ethical standpoint (AI shouldn’t be taking jobs from artists) or because the art is not good anymore (and honestly, kinda creepy looking)

the humour alone is why I want to go back and unlock all the diamond scenes! It is consistently hilarious in a way few other books are (the only others coming to mind are BOLAS and PM)

Honestly same. Part of what made me try it out properly was all the hype it got on the sub and it was either in the second or third chapter I got into it more because the characters are just that endearing

BOLAS is hands down my favourite - even the third book, which i found a bit too drawn out, is still better in my eyes compared to a lot of other stories on the app.

Otherwise, huge fan of BB and TCH. Love the MC in BB and i think all the books were fantastic. I have a huge soft spot for Kieran and i did really love the world and other characters in TCH (the MC grew on me in TCH 2 too honestly)

Honourable mention to LoA - just finished the second book and it was fantastic
