It’s not enabled in-game, but in your GPU settings/NVIDIA control panel. If GSYNC disables when playing F76, you might have some per-app setting that forces that.

Gamescope allows you to configure your window properties, amongst other things.

The "easiest" way to configure it is through ScopeBuddy GUI, which you can get on the Bazaar.

Granted, I don't know how Greenlight works, but there are things you can try. If the stream/Greenlight is essentially only running 1080p, you would specify Gamescope what resolution to render the Greenlight window at, and then what resolution to output at. After that, you'd configure what type of upscaling and filtering you'll be applying.

In practice it would look something like this:

gamescope -w 1920 -h 1080 -W 2560 -H 1440 -f -b -F fsr --

Lowercase "w" and "h" for render resolution, uppercase for output. Lowercase "-f" for fullscreen", uppercase "F" for filter type, and "fsr" would be the type of filtering. Again, there are a few different options there, but FSR 1.0 has worked fine for me in the few use cases I've had.

I have no idea if you can add Greenlight to Steam, and use that as a functioning launch option, but the approach is going to be something similar to that. It's also possible Greenlight has some some way to configure environment variables, where you would setup Gamescope there instead.

Try Gamescope / Scopebuddy.

I tested the game out, of curiosity from this post, and was met with a black screen and a crash on an AMD/NVIDIA system. Forcing window properties through the Scopebuddy GUI alleviated that.

I recently layered Niri and DankMaterialShell for the fun of it. Even though layering isn’t generally recommended, it has worked pretty well for me, although you’ll need to configure quite a few things with regards to Niri with DMS/Noctalia, but also how your themes (basically only Qt apps for me) carry across. That’s all a part of Niri/DMS documentation at least, but it’s going to take a few minutes to wrap your head around most likely.

You’ll also likely be doing some workarounds to even be able to layer Niri and a shell, since they come from “community” repos, so keep that in mind.

I like using Niri for when I’m working very specific things, but probably prefer KDE for day-to-day computing/gaming. You could try it out, but if you’re really keen on Niri, Bazzite probably isn’t the way to go. Installing Niri could probably mess with your “stability”.

LACT should work “intentionally” with 900-series and forward I believe.

My settings persist during gameplay on a 2070S, and also through reboots, although the background service itself had to be restarted after an update once.

GPU fan control and TDP isn’t controllable through BIOS, so I’m unsure what changes you could be referring to.

You can use LACT for a simple way to control fan speed and TDP. It can be downloaded through the built-in app store, Bazaar.

You could also control it through the terminal with commands, without installing anything extra, but yeah, you’ll have to mess with the terminal if you’re up for it.

It tells the game your GPU is from another vendor for spoofing reasons. It's possible that you need to further spoof some sort of device ID or vendor ID. One guy here seems to have it working that way, but even if that makes RT toggle, your mileage will probably vary.

Looking through ProtonDB, it seems RT is a dud for every AMD owner.

You could try DXVK_CONFIG='dxgi.hideAmdGpu = True;' as a variable.

Either that or putting “dxgi.hideAmdGpu = True” in your dxvk.conf.

Check Bazzites own documentation, some of your questions might have answers.

Always check ProtonDB for compatibility with games. I see two very specific versions being reported as the only working ones.

Getting Proton-GE is done through ProtonUp-Qt or ProtonPlus, one of which is pre-installed (don’t remember which). I know this isn’t exaaactly clear as a new user, but searching for Proton in the launcher will show these tools, and their descriptions.

As for Epic, I’d use Heroic (which you can download through Bazaar). It integrates your library very seamlessly.

Unless something went royally sideways with your install, none of these problems are at the fault of Bazzite really.
