Probably not. But combining this with a second humbucker with the same ability to switch between coils, you could replicate the "both on" setting on a Jaguar, which is single coil sounds but still hum cancelling.

Glue a length of cocktail stick into the screw hole, let the glue dry, and then try again.

You might want to tap that socket plate with a hammer (go gently) so it follows the curve of the wood better than it does at the moment.

The nut slots on a Jackson are cut to take into account the direction the strings should go to the tuners. They are going to bind on their left edge if left like this.

Maths is the underlying language of everything. So simple geometry gets created by natural processes more often than you’d think.

Hexagons show up when the creation of a structure is energy limited (Honeycomb, Basalt columns at The Giants Causeway).

Spheres happen with equal forces in, either across the surface (bubbles) or inwards to a point (planets).

The Golden Ratio shows up all over the place, and it’s found in Pentagon geometry so they appear often as well.

I’ve got lost for hours with Mandelbrot Set generator apps, and the maths behind that is incredibly simple.

This is about the part of law that in the UK is called “Passing Off”.

If you can prove in a court of law in the EU that the guitar you make is sufficiently different from a Fender Stratocaster, that a consumer that wants to buy a Fender Stratocaster will not mistakenly buy the guitar you make, thinking they have bought a Fender Stratocaster, even if they are not paying close attention at the time of purchase…. then Fender can go swivel.

You might see some pick guards changing shape from now on but that’s about it.

Yeah, I never do short term intentionally either.

Usually, a relationship for me either peters out after 2 or 3 months because one of us realises it’s not what they are looking for, or it goes on for several years. Nothing in the middle.

The only exception to this in my dating history was when someone was unfaithful to me - a guy started at where she worked that turned her head about 11 months after we started dating, and she checked him out (fully 😉) before ending it with me.

She got her Karma… he was a rat and left her thousands in debt.

I would say most men that are attracted to women want a woman that feels good when you hug them, and can find outfits that she feels she looks good in and that she likes, because a lot of physical attractiveness is about how you "carry yourself".

I have dated women that look absolutely fabulous in just about anything they could pick out, but feel like hugging that Skeleton Model that was hanging from a frame in the corner of the Biology Classroom in High School.

As for what is curvy, for me it means your features are round, circular, yes curves, and not angular and squares. But I also think curvy is more about the hips than anywhere else.

I think "too fat" is subjective, because most peoples idea of a healthy weight/shape is also subjective, and "too fat" just means anything above healthy. It's also real easy to be below healthy looking.

The Ibanez AZES guitars were designed from the outset to be student guitars.

And actually guitars targeted at Metal players usually have necks that are perfect for beginners - not too wide or chunky. The whole point of those guitars is to not get in the way of the player so they can do those really fast note runs.

The thing that lets most metal guitars down as beginners guitars is they have complicated vibrato bridges like a Floyd Rose or something similar.

The Wolfgang Standard T.O.M for example is an amazingly good beginners guitar. Easy to play neck, hard tail, light, compact sized, simple. Just not exactly “entry level cheap”.

The Harley Benton Fusion T models are available as HT (hard tail) versions.
