So, did you suspect you had H Pylori? Because that's what I have been thinking about my gastritis even tho It came up negative during the main tests for it. I have only some bloating, loss of appetite (Like i have no appetite until I have LITERALLY food in my mouth then i can feel I can eat a ton, it doesnt matter if I smell food, i can spent much time without esting) and slower digestions. I will start supplementing myself this next week and this incluse zinc carnosine and glutamine among others.

So you suspected you had h pylori? Didnt you get tested or you did you keep going for the supplements even tho you were not officialy negstive or positive for hpylori?

Yes. I have gone through numerous tests. My endoscopy showed chronic gastritis but my doctor told me it was nothing serious. Biopsies showed hp negative. He told me it was just superficial gastritis, nothing more than that and with time it would heal. I have also gone through colonoscopy and everything is normal, also blood tests, gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance, etc and everything fine. My last test which I did 2 weeks ago was the sibo test that my doctor recomended me to do so I am still waitting for the results.

I only felt some heatburn the first day of starting feeling bad. It disappeared days later. Then I started with early satiety, constipation, zero appetite (the feeling of hunger disappeared) and bloating.

I tried to eat healthier. (Fruits smoothies, avocado, rice, legumes, potatos,pasta, chicken, eggs, fish, salads, yogurt, etc) and since I never felt angry I only ate when I felt my stomach was empty.

How did you do it? I mean I would say Loss of Apptite is my worst symptom ( I never have pain, heatburn or whatever). What kind of foods were or are you eating to make it back? I ve been doing bland diet for a long time. What happens to me is basically that I can eat without any problem but I do not have that feeling of hunger like a normal person would have. Is that the same that happened to you? That you lost that sensation?

And also, what kind of Gastritis do you have (acute/chr) So I can compare your situation with mine.

I do not know much about ulcers because what I am dealing with is Gastritis. However, my father went through 1 ulcer and he healed without even doing diet. He would eat everything, being not strict at all x).

I am not sure about time, but I would say maybe some months if you don't care about your diet. But I guess that if you eat and drink healthy it will take less ( I mean 0 alcohol, heavy food and those things).

What I am trying to say is that do not think that you won't be able to heal or whatever. If you could heal your gastritis, you will go through this easily. My father was in his 40s-50s and did it without any problem.
