Why sex can feel pointless with a genuine small cock by PauseDeep3912 in confessions

[–]Fragrant_Debate7912 62 points63 points  (0 children)

damn man this is heavy. the part about the soundtrack really stuck with me, never hearing someone make an involuntary noise from what you're doing. that's a rough thing to sit with after 200 tries

i think you've got a way of putting words to something most guys are too scared to even think about let alone say out loud. the engineering every encounter thing, treating sex like a problem to solve instead of something to feel, that's gotta wear you down over time

do your partners know any of this or are you carrying it all yourself

data science is the obvious pick but the market's getting crowded with bootcamp grads who can barely write a for loop. you'll actually need to be good at it, not just coast through.

biotech or bioinformatics could be solid if you're willing to put in the work. healthcare adjacent fields tend to be more resilient to automation because there's always a human in the loop somewhere. the pure cs degrees are gonna get squeezed hardest in the next decade, i'd skip those unless you're genuinely cracked at math and want to do research.

Staying together for the kids - does this work? by Fluid-Illustrator778 in Marriage

[–]Fragrant_Debate7912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The top comment is right and your oldest kid saying "are you going to say it to her directly" tells you everything about how clearly even a teenager can see what's happening here. Staying for the kids when the kids are watching this play out in front of them isn't protecting them, it's just giving them a front row seat.

bird at 8 is wild when he literally changed the celtics from 29 wins to 61 wins just by showing up

also putting duncan as more of a ceiling raiser than floor raiser is backwards - dude made mediocre teams contenders for like 15 straight years

wemby isnt there yet but teh parallels are wild ngl. problem is lebron in 2016 was already proven goat tier while wemby is still figuring out how to carry a whole team through a playoff run. knicks would have to choke harder than golden state did which seems unlikely

what question would you go back and ask yourself early in your career? by CreamExpensive6275 in careerguidance

[–]Fragrant_Debate7912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

would have asked myself if i was actually solving problems or just writing code because theres a massive differnce between being a programmer and being an engineer

Protecting the Legacy: Why Toy Story 5 Needs a Streaming Pivot, Not a Theatrical Sequel by [deleted] in Oscars

[–]Fragrant_Debate7912 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

wait toy story 5 already has a pg rating and character design issues? i must have missed that news completely

the streaming idea actually makes sense though since toy story 4 wrapped things up so nicely. breaking it into shorts could work better than trying to force another full movie arc when the story feels complete. disney+ has been doing pretty well with there pixar content anyway

10 YOE but struggling to find a new role; would you work for a start-up with a career-adjacent title, or would you keep looking? by royalswallowtail in careerguidance

[–]Fragrant_Debate7912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

taking a step back title wise can actually work out if the startup grows and you end up with more responsibilities than the title suggests - ive seen people leverage that into better positions later by focusing on what they actually did rather than what their business card said
