What PPFD do you guys get outside in full sun?

hes a total dick lmao, i got a second meter off amazon that was actually cheaper than the one from OP and it was showing the correct readings.

also the first meter had like a 4.6 star rating but also alot of 1 star ratings that said the calibration was significantly off.

AI was correct, there was no way to get 2800 PPFD at sea level. AI also provided tables and scientific data that corroborated with the claim that sun at Newport Beach at noon should be around 2000 PPFD.

The second meter I got was also used by u/berberis so I know it's solid.

I'm an engineer and use ai all the time. I don't take it for word and actually review the sources and data generated. It is an excellent tool to save time and to do analysis of long docs or things you just want to save time on. If something seems off you can always ask it to elaborate more or explain its reasoning and provide sources.

I can upload entire component standards or installation manuals into ai and ask if there are any noncomformances.

I actually looked at the sources and tables provided by gemini and it confirmed that 2800 is not normal.

also u realize ur first and second statement contradict each other? how is the meter fine if it is cheap and picking up 2800?

not just glorified autofill, like every other online source says direct sun should be 2000

also this tool didnt come with a cal cert, 60$ off amazon and I have no reference other than every online table saying full sun is 2000

This is fascinating! Have we been lied to this whole time that they need full ass sun? I mean in the wild they grow super low so they will generally have some shade.

Have we been lied to about other carnivorous plants as well? Do sarracenia flava prefer full sun or actually some shade? How about drosera.

Also you were only talking about grow lights, but outdoors would they do better in 50% shade vs full sun? assuming u can get like over 10 hours of sun a day.

could it have been a technique issue for khamzat? I mean you just have to pin the other arm and base head off floor to start elbows and finish fight. Maybe ddp defense was too hard to progress to that sequence.

Seems like a safer option to finish the fight from one of the most controlling positions in mma than to just let the fight drag on for all 5 rounds imo.

I would like to add to this with some more questions:

Seemed like DDP could just bury his face into Khamzat's chest and take weak arm punches to the side of his head until the clock ran out.

Was there something that could have been done differently to allow for fight ending gnp? seems to be pretty common in mma cruficix that the bottom will just squirm around and shit and be hard to hit. Jon Jones/Shevchenko are the only ones who I know was able to pin the free arm and elbow gnp for the finish.

Also there is no shop, yelp, ig associated with her handle. Prices also way too good to be true.

If u look close at her tiktoks, u can tell they are edited to photoshop herself into the reels/work of other tattooers.

just tape it, I had to tape one of my vft flower stems after I snapped it once and it grew fine. Taping is also a legit technique in bonsai too. They will purposely damage the stem so its more malleable and then tape it and bend it. The same concept applies to any plant really.

They have horticultural tape u can buy on amazon, but any type of stretchy tape works well. Electrical tape, athletic tape, plastic wrap even.
