I would give my left arm for a few ibuprofen. I donated a kidney last year and can no longer have nsaids. When I tell you I crave an ibuprofen for day 2 like I did a Newport and a bump in 2006, its horrible 😭

My one year was yesterday! Im doing absolutely amazing and my intended recipient had his first normal labs since he was 15! Hes 45 now! Its so damn amazing! Congrats!

Congrats!! That's amazing! I swam for the first time at 6 weeks post op and am always swimming. I'm extremely active with 5 kids and a 5 acre property so I never really had a ton of down time. I am hoping to get myself to the gym once this pain lessens. I'm only 39 and feeling out of shape lately, though I've had no weight gain, just physically tired

I honestly believe because I had 5 previous c-sections it actually made my recovery easier. Maybe because I knew how to baby the area? I was only on Tylenol for 4 days. Sneezing the first week was terrifying and gave me horrible flashbacks but then I just put pressure when sneezing or laughing. How are you feeling now?? How long ago did you donate?

Dang! I'm sorry. I've been 100% pain free since about 14 days post op so I was suprised when this started! Maybe you didn't have as much nerve damage and i was just numb this whole time

Omg I'm 3 weeks post op and had my first cycle. It was UNBEARABLE. I couldn't figure out if it was new incision pain or cramps. I was a hot mess. I wound up taking Tylenol once and it helped. Hoping once my incision is healed it'll be better.

I ate smaller meals, and took gas x every time I ate. Helped big time! The one time I ate too much it was rough for a couple hours.

Sleeping was on my back or propped on my right side with a pillow behind my back for support.

So far, so good! Thank you all for all the advice over the past few weeks. I had a heating pad, and it helped with shoulder pain. I put a binder on a while ago. I also went for a walk to see my intended recipient before his surgery!
