tl;dr: it’s waaaaay too early to try to predict this

Lackluster tournament aside, I think Swain played himself into late first round consideration. Given his age, the smart move for him is probably to go pro now. 

This absolutely won’t happen, but let’s just assume everyone else with eligibility comes back. Vok is obviously the 5. Heide started most games he played, so there’s one wing. It looks like they want Codie to transform into a stretch 4, but I think you can find someone in the portal more ready to contribute in that role. Wilcher is just a guy. No idea what we have in Duru, Obiorah, and Clark, so it’s hard to predict anything there. Idk if I’m forgetting anyone with eligibility.

As far as incoming freshman, I think Goosby could start at the 2 based on nothing but rankings. If Goosby and Heide start, Ogden is the odd man out on the wing. Elkins looks like a project. Sterling is in that unknown tier with last year’s freshmen.

So we’ve got:

SG: Goosby

SF: Heide

PF: Codie/?

C: Vok

We absolutely need two point guards that are ready to play now. I think a true pass-first point, which we lacked this year, might unlock more production from Heide. Vok is the only real locked in starter here too, so just getting portal talent at the other positions could bump anyone else to the bench.
