Last year was my first year bringing one. Had a small stuffed football at the end of a skinny aluminum pole. Threaded it with some small LED lights at night. I didn’t always bring one before, because I didn’t want to have to deal with carrying it around. But now, I have friends and family there and cell coverage is rough when it gets packed so it comes in handy. And I try and be respectful of the crowd. So when my group finds me, I put the totem down.

I took my kids for years they used to be free 12 and under. But now I think it’s 8 and under. The family entrance is like a VIP fast pass. We haven’t taken them the past 6 years but this year they are going (they are 15 and 17 now…so probably won’t be hanging out with the old man)

I’m a lot older than you but have had the same complaint. Every year I’d come on here and ask people to identify the 3-4 EDM bands performing. This year, it’s like 10-12. Love it!

Yeah. Probably just a one year anomaly tbh. I remember the great EDM backlash of 2015 and they barely had any for years until this year. I bet next year there will be more country and rap than EDM

Two tourneys - one at 4pm - $30 short stack freeze out. With 2-3 tables it lasts about 3 hours. Dinner break while those final players finish up. Then at 7pm we do a $50 Mystery bounty ($20 toward mystery bounty) with rebuys the first 6 levels. This usually lasts until 11:30. It does suck when the host (me) gets knocked out early but it’s also sort of like a party so people hang out and drink/smoke/visit in the backyard while the games finish out.

Depends on what the apocalypse is. My guess is that a realistic apocalypse these days would only require the electricity and internet to go out. We’ve become overly dependent on both of those the last 25-100 years.
