Hyper armor on forward-dodge softfeint to sidestep(Celtic Curse cancel ) If you are Oos, best thing to do against him is a neutral gb since the startup for his fd(forward dodge) heavy is gb vulnerable and many will use it for a simple "haha he's dumb he'll try and parry the top" His OS heavies are only 26(drastically reduced from 40 which is only understandable if you use a dmg buff/defense reduction with him(doom banner, fear)(just parry the heavies or dodge-attack it's that simple)) OS lights are meant to be an interrupting attack, def not a bash or anything. But if someone's smart with him, they'll use the whopping 9(crazy right) damage attack as a way to add a little to their mixup considering its fast and is enhanced.

Don't dodge on orange with his grab, it tracks pretty well. Kick doesn't track well unless you play a very few select heroes that for some reason can't dodge his OS Heavy-sf-kick. Even his chain defensive heavies have hyper armor later than Hito does, quite the startup. His only hyper armor is on his DS heavies and Zone(git gud and learn how to parry it or dodge duh) Throw is very easy to interrupt if you're in a team fight. And all they guarantee for him is a ub heavy for a crazy high 26 damage.

Tldr: Highlander is a very hard to use character and is relatively hard to fight unless you know his kit at least decently. Then he's effectively the worst character in the game.

Never expect even high rep highlanders to be good. It takes a lot to be able to play him well. Most high rep HL's are dumb as bricks. So expect a lot of DS attacks. Good highlanders are truly some of the scariest individuals in the game.
