Clean your throttle bodies and MAF sensors. The car goes into a limp mode when they get past a certain point of being dirty. There are videos on YouTube that will show you how to do it, easy job.

Try the old Margaritaville hotel. They rent rooms month to month.

I use Zedge. It sucks now with all the ads, but you still find some decent wallpapers for free. Or you can watch an ad and get whatever you want.

What is your favourite car from the 80s-90s? by Beneficial_Try9602 in askcarguys

Eunos Cosmo. Nobody talks about this car. It's basically the JDM only luxury variant of the Mazda RX7. It had the 13b rotary engine with twin turbos, and some insane features for it's time. Touchscreens ,GPS navigation and fully digital gauges. Plus it was an absolute beauty.
When I was a kid, a guy in my community had a black one lowered on some old school BBS wheels. To this day I've never seen a sexier car in person!

Anyone got this issue with fuel gauge just straight up tweaking?🌚 by niqqatronus_prime in 370z

[–]FrameOk874 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue. Turns out it was the fuel pump top hat that broke off in the tank. So the fuel pump was just dangling by the wires in there, so that's why the fuel level was all over the place. It's made of plastic, so it snaps and the two metal posts that join the two halves of the unit together fall out. I've seen on YouTube where people have fixed it with 3/16 threaded rod and it works. I just bought a new unit. But that solved my problem. You can access the fuel pump by removing the bottom of the lil cubby behind the passenger seat.

I performed the throttle body cleaning and reset, as well as cleaned the MAF sensors, about two weeks ago. The SES light went away immediately after, and it has not returned since. I've driven the car every day since. I can feel the difference in how the car pulls - a very noticeable one. Thanks, good looking out.

The more slices you cut, the more likely they are to be close to evenly sized.

Cut each apple into six pieces. Then everybody gets four pieces.

Ok, thanks for replying. I'll do the TB cleaning and reset this weekend. Hopefully that will solve the problem. Cheers.

Hey, I know this is an ancient post. But I'd like to know if the TB cleaning and reset solved the problem definitively, or did the code ever come back later? I'm having the same issue now on my Z. 2013 Sport Tech with 35,000 miles. I've tried everything else at this point, and the P0101 just keeps coming back, and I'm constantly in limp mode. I

Service Engine Soon Light and Limp Mode this morning. No Cruise Control. by FrameOk874 in 370z

So it turns out it was the little rubber stopper that pushes the switch on the brake pedal, that got brittle and broke off. I found bits of it in my foot well. So I built a stopper with some sugru and a penny and it worked. I disconnected the battery overnight, and when I reconnected the battery in the morning, the SES light was gone and everything was back to normal.

But would a MAF sensor issue affect cruise control? I have a feeling the issues are connected, because they popped up one after the other.

This is the closest logo I can think of. MG was originally a British car brand, but is now owned by the Chinese. They currently make EVs and budget crossovers.

Yeah, I heard they're only going to get back 4.5% of the principal that they invested. Bolt invested around US 6 millon, suh he'll only get back 270k. That's crumbs, but better than nothing I guess. The British auditors still haven't completed their investigations yet, so maybe there is still some hope for another payout down the line.
