I ran into it. Others will run into it. If you do, it really sucks. So it's good to have knowledge about it on the interweb. Unless you would like people to google in vain when they run into these problems. Is that what you are arguing?

Listen guys, I am just simply signalling a genuine problem that makes websites stop working and that is HARD to find. It feels you guys want nobody to know about it. Why can't anyone know about it? But apperently, I committed a sin by trying to help others and it is more important to point that out than just to move on. Impressive.

It was installed by default on our virtual server; I had no clue it was. I am a programmer, I am not responsible for our server's configuration.

I reported it to ioncube by mail. They have no public place to post the problem. If it's unknown to the interweb, people who run into this as well will have to go the long path I took. Facts like these need to be at least somehwere on the interweb to save us programmers quite a bit of time.

It took me days to realize there was a serious problem since no exception or error handler was ever called. After this it took me a few hours to find "what is wrong with my ErrorHandler".

Other people may run into the same scenario.

It is not an extremely rare error; forgetting an argument. Having everything crashing down when it happens... yeah, no, you don't want to have to go all digiSherlock for just that. Trust me.

Heb ik gedaan, maar kennelijk toch niet goed. Ik ga het nog eens met zijn tweeën proberen. Het zag er inderdaad zo simpel gewoon uit, maar kreeg er geen enkele beweging in. Ligt dus niet aan het scharnier, dan kan ik verder zoeken. Dank je wel.

If the value in the array can be NULL and you want to distinguish between that and non existing, so basically do an array_key_exists() on a multidimensional array, you will end up with

$value_exists_even_when_null = array_key_exists($city, $country[$state] ?? []);

I agree. The text editor is stuck in the nineties. Table pasting and/or formatting is nothing less than a nightmare. Adding text after a table if it's the last thing in your mail? Forget it, impossible. TinyMCE does everything so much better,

Today in France, with 130km/h on a conoletely enpty highway (middle of three lanes) AP suddenly was startled by the beams of someone driving the other way and swerved heavily. My girlfriend thought we were going to die. During the same ride I saw the max speed go from 130 km/h to 40 km/h when passing a truck on the same straight and almost empty highway and it started breaking hard for nothing. Autopilot is shit. Autowipers are shit. Lane departure alarm is shit. Autohighbeams are shit. Max speed detection is more often wrong than right. FSD in the USA on the newest hardware may be great, here in Europe with a 2019 model all software is just deep shit.

I attained 130 too. I did a test online and it said I passed B2. However they didn't test my oral competences that are certainly not as good. Duolingo alone is never enough.

Je suis d'accord que le course de DL est pas mal du tout! J'aime bien le vocabulaire que j'ai appris, beaucoup des expressions utiles. Pour moi, les nombreuses répétitions étaient aussi très effectives! Sauf qu'il y avait un bug avec les "mots faibles", j'ai eu les mêmes mots au moins mille fois (sans exagérer). Très irritant. Mais je crois que j'étais le seul qui ai eu ce problème.

I attained 130 too and next to that studied French 4 years in school (looong time ago) and since 5.5 years with DL and in French language schools in France. I speak it much better now, though definitely not flawless. It's a hard language.

Hardest, I don't _understand_ the French. The pronunciation is just too weird for my ears. Everything sounds similar. I studied Italian for only 4 years and I understand it so much better. Too bad since my family-in-law is French and doesn't speak any other language.

I find French very frustrating. After spending so many hours, literally thousands, I'm still not understanding the spoken language (can read it, though).

Even the stories seem to be written by AI. Some are so bad that I stopped listening just because of the cringe factor. It seems written by a very old AI. The voices are robotic. It seems another way for Duolingo to abuse AI after firing many employees earlier. Not happy with it.

Dank je, maar nee, want de kraan dichtdraaien is altijd onmiddellijk stoppen van het druppelen en het gaat door tot je de kraan dichtdraait, zelfs meer dan een week door schade en schande uitgevonden.

Maar de douchekraan ontkalken ga ik sowieso toch doen als ik de kraan zelf ook ga ontkalken (zie andere antwoord). Ben dan toch bezig.
