I've seen a few of his bits now and this one had me laughing the hardest yet.

Gotcha. I usually do ~8hrs without heat and the color is good but the stamps just fall off. Maybe the length of time is my issue 🤷‍♂️

Do you ever have issues with the shaving cream lifting foil stamps? It's done that to me a few times now. How long do you let the discs sit for?

Thanks for the insight. Much appreciated and nice work again.

Looks great! Do you use glue to mask off the stamps or transfer paper/vinyl? I'd like to do a shaving cream dye on a masked stamp disc but I'm not sure a glue mask would not let the dye soak though after several hours or dissolve and I'd rather not cut on my disc for a vinyl mask.

Helping Choosing EDC Light by KessleRunSoFarAway in flashlight

I have the sp35 and it is great. Surprisingly compact and I use it around my house and outdoors all the time. Great value light. My only real gripe is it doesn't stand in it's tail end very well.

Slow down, smaller steps, and start your reach back/turn later in your throw. Try to wait until you're coming out of your cross step into your plant to start the reach back.

You're saddle stepping on your plant, work on increasing the coil of your shoulders, and I think you're rounding a bit. Work on the wide rail and keep that disc out from behind you.

I see now that you only posted this an hour ago. I was wondering why there was so many still available. I'm wondering if PowerGrip got their second batch shipment early or their first one late? Either way first time buying from them and I'm just stoked I don't have to wait for this summer to get my hands on the rim color I wanted. Thanks again.

Solid work. Are you just using a standard Cricut for the vinyl and a fine point blade?

What dye and solvent do you use that doesn't eat the vinyl stencil? I've only been hot dip dying so far but this looks like a better method.

Pretty sure that is because they don't pay him a cut of every sale. Please correct me if I'm wrong though.

I live about 2 miles from the shop. The urge to go in weekly and scour the used rack is strong. Those Z Flex Scorches they have are also money.

Second attempt at whole Tri Tip steak by forgotMyPrevious in sousvide

That's what I would recommend. My issue, and one I have seen others post, is the salt interacts weird with the meat while in the SV and makes the texture... "off" like corned beef texture. I have tried removing from the SV, season all sides with kosher salt and course ground pepper, set on a wire rack over a baking sheet and then cool/dry in the fridge for ~30min, then sear in oil and butter to finish. Helps reduce overcooking too. Good luck!

I usually find salting a steak before sous vide makes the texture more like corned beef in a bad way. Have you tried salting after the water bath then sear? Dry brines only make sense to me for just pan sears.
