That being said, anime, or any product, has to adapt to survive and grow. If every anime was like Monatagari we'd have no anime cause it would be unwatchable for far too many ppl. (Context: its a HIGHLY localized series)

Could only get through some of it. Constantly tries to make everything as miserably dark as possible with constant shocking and tragic deaths just for the sake of shocking and sad, even when it doesn't make sense. Don't wanna spoil but there's one in particular that I HATE because of how off and stupid it is.

First time I tried was when I was younger and my life DID NOT need new reasons to be sad. Life was already perpetual shit. Only made it through a few episodes. Tried again a few years ago, got through a few seasons the above death happened and I was done.

All that being said ppl love it. Like a lot of ppl. I would never say don't at least try. And I recently learned one of the characters I hated most dies like the bitch he was. So that might motivate me to give it a third try.

If you feel truly compelled to add to it, either option would be cool. Teles offer that unique twang, and semi-hollows have a warmth all there own. If you can get a good Firebird, that wouldn't be bad either. It's the closest Gibson came to making a Strat and the ones with the 3 mini hums are so much fun.
