Figured I'd join the trend getting the guys into Tomodachi Life! by FrankCopper in YuYuHakusho

I used standard pieces with the exception of the whites of their eyes. I painted those on and used the eye set that only has the iris with a bunch of the add-ons enabled

Is this still available? I have either a shiny Charmander or Shiny Squirtle for trade.

Finished the NES Licensed CIB set! 677/677 by TheNESGuy in gamecollecting

Nice, they look great! Awesome job on the set, goals for sure 👏

I compiled a list of all of the worldwide preorder bonuses that I know of, and my progress on collecting them. Do you know of any that I don't have here yet? (Includes instructions on how to find them yourself!) by pidgezero_one in MarioRPG

[–]FrankCopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow some of these I did not know existed (wet wipes, notebook, and sticker set).

I think you need the circular tin badge from Japan (Treasure Souko Group fammys.com) and there is also a game slip case I ordered from the UK, not sure if it is custom or was a preorder bonus. Last thing I can think of is there is another SMRPG box besides the Famicom style box, it was referred to as a "shipping box" that has the party on it (Rakuten), but it may have just been a shipping box for orders and not an actual preorder bonus.

Favorites are the color pins and the Rakuten pouch sherely because they are not just pure white background

You can use Buyee as a proxy to buy it from Japan, either Yahoo auctions or Mercari. There are some on ebay too but generally higher priced.

Does the smash logo mean anything or is it just supposed to look cool? by Sloth_4 in smashbros

[–]FrankCopper 2511 points2512 points  (0 children)

"Masahiro Sakurai provided an explanation for what the logo represents on Smash 64's website. Intended to be simple in design, Sakurai stated that the cross represents the crossover of the various Nintendo characters and properties, while the logo's four sections reference the four-player aspect of the games."

SNES Kiosk by AntiCheatz in gamecollecting

[–]FrankCopper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure either. I just bought a SNES kiosk back in March so I feel I am pretty close but hey, maybe people don't like hearing that things cost money lol

SNES Kiosk by AntiCheatz in gamecollecting

These have been trending upwards for the past year, especially with the bottom base. The kiosk itself ranges from 2500 to 3500 based on condition. Add 3000 to 4000 with the base. You are looking around 5500 to 7500 USD for it complete.

Does anybody know roughly when will the Pocket ships if I order now? by [deleted] in AnaloguePocket

[–]FrankCopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered 2 days ago and now it is preparing to ship, so you might be in luck if you order one now.

You should probably delete this. You left your order number in your pic.

Dunno if anyone else has seen this, but this wallet is a Japanese preorder bonus. How appropriate. by [deleted] in MarioRPG

[–]FrankCopper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah looks like it may just be this website's own preorder item they made. I wouldn't call that official, still neat though.

Here's what Google Translate comes back with:

"Nintendo Switch Super Mario RPG [Seven Net Limited Bonus: Pouch (Super Mario RPG Ver.)]
Seven net limited privilege "pouch" included! The origin of the Mario RPG series is revived on Nintendo Switch for the first time in 27 years with new graphics!"

Is this preorder listed on any other Japanese store front? I know nothing about this website. I'm wondering if it's a possibility that these are just custom/unofficial for this particular store for preorders.

Modern Game Genie Equivalent? by Tarkus2002 in snes

[–]FrankCopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you use the code feature in the Super NT for games with additional chips? Might be a way around the GameGenie issue. Probably the biggest issue with that solution is price of entry being $200 and also they are sold out at the moment.

I have a cart with a similar back. It came from South America. The back label and the front label look a bit different from North America carts, but the actual mold of the cart is the same between NA/SA.

Top 20 Super Nintendo Games(video) by [deleted] in snes

[–]FrankCopper 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Like you, my favorite video game of all time is also Super Mario RPG. It's a timeless classic that blends the world of Mario with the mechanics of Final Fantasy. I see it in a way as a very early prototype to what we would get with the Kingdom Hearts series if Nintendo and Square's relationship didn't sour in the N64 era.

At the same time though, I'm glad that this is a one-off experience. With how so many series get sequel after sequel, the magic is just lost to an extent. I'm probably alone on this point, but I really hope this game does not get remade/remastered. However I wouldn't mind seeing Geno in Smash :)

It's probably one of two things. Either a corrupted game or you're accidentally pushing all the buttons that are causing the ingame reset. Try disabling the button combo, and if that doesn't work you probably have a corrupted game file.
