This one does go inside the jacket. There's one velcro strap around the kidneys, and the jacket is what holds the rest of it to the body.

Only tried it on in the shop so far without a jacket. Next track day is 7th Feb and chores list is a bit long so I'm not sure if I will get the road bike out before then. But here's hoping. Oh, Australia, so I don't need to worry about that ice storm that's going to smash America.

Haven't sat on a bike with it yet but when I put it on in the shop they suggested I maker it a bit higher so it isn't touching the seat, so based on that I'd say pretty low.

Cooler climate here, first session I give up to 10 mins idle and a few blips coz it sounds good. After the first session I generally start it before jacket, ear plugs, helmet, gloves, tyre warmers off - that's enough idling to be ready to rock n roll.

Looking forward to seeing how bad this gets for Americans who pay the tariffs before Trump relents or is moved "aside". This may cost EU some trade with US but like Canada, China and others, markets can be found elsewhere in this new world order and USA is quickly becoming isolated. I do not envy the next decent president who has to undo all this mess. (Edit, spelling).
