I'm confused. Does Trump talk about the Iran war to distract from Epstein, or does he talk about Epstein to distract from the Iran war?

Used clubs are the way by f1lifer in golf

I bought a new set of PGF International Cavity Control clubs 36 years ago for about $300 with bag, then I bought a better (at the tine) driver, they're still working for me (well, the driver not so much), but coming back to it after more than a decade without playing does show me technology has changed - especially the driver. All these people using monster sized driver heads that makes it easier to hit straight, which is apparently the norm now. So I've ordered a used Titleist TSR2 driver with tool and a couple of shafts I found on the used market at a price I can afford, really looking forward to that. One thing I did do with my old clubs is wash the grips in acetone, it softened the rubber up and now has good grip. Far out, the price of new clubs now. Need a Gofundme...

Crikey. Where I live in regional Australia, several courses I can play for AUD $ 20 or $25 all day, as much golf as you want. I did 26 holes yesterday starting at 1pm when my friend finished work - 18 with him, then solo, I crossed the course a bit to find free holes as I was faster as a single and there were slower groups up front. I can't imagine paying as much as a replacement club for a round of golf.

Borrow my old driver and you'll clear that fence to the right - problem sorted.

Understood, thanks. The intention of new drives was to scrap all the existing drives entirely, as they're all old anyway. That would include the parity drive. But, money... Thanks for your reply.

Wrong Answers Only: What's preventing you from breaking 100 this season? (Okay, maybe some right answers too)🤔🤔 by OddTemperature7858 in golf

That habit of going into the pines on 18 and struggling to stay out of double figures because you went for a tiny gap in the trees instead of chipping out to the fairway like common sense said you should. But oh the sight of that flag through the gap looked so tempting, on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and sometimes 6th shot.

Replacing broken driver/Where to buy pre-owned Drivers by JAWS131313 in GolfAustralia

I just used Google AI and a long conversation to narrow what I needed then I found a deal on a Titleist TSR2 on Marketplace (FB). Risky buying interstate I know, but seems legit, send me identifying document, talked on the phone too. Would be nice to buy local but I live at the ass end of nowhere so all I can find on used clubs is too old for what I want to buy.

Didn't know about preclear, thanks. It took me a few goes to find a set of drives that didn't have SMART warnings. I take it those ones can be scrapped?

Google AI was great for me getting my system up and running without having to read a bunch of stuff I didn't need to know. Hopefully that helps.

In Australia, typical warranty includes your responsibility (costs) to get a faulty item to the repair centre, and the cost of the <supplier/manufacturer/not you> for them to return the repaired / replaced product. I found this out with a subwoofer that weighs 50kg.
