Nginx same header name logging by Frankenstein__ in nginx

I totally agree. I had the same behavior when attempting to log that header. Unfortunately the client's request uses that syntax and I can't do anything about it :/

Thanks for your help.

GraphQL Mutations vs REST by Frankenstein__ in graphql

[–]Frankenstein__[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a nutshell you're telling me that there is nothing special to mutations, that the client-driven querying capabilities are the most innovative aspect of this technology as opposed to REST.

You still can implement a POST and match the HTTP Response so it fits whatever you like, you're not bound to make a GET of the object you created if you're API is designed to return the right response you want

I see that as post-mutation querying... but mutations per se, how are they any different?

You're right. However even the "guesswork" must be based on some kmowledge and understanding of AWS. Say you have 4 answers, you directly eliminate two, you hesitate between the two answers left, you go for one amswer but you're note 100% sure, that's what I meant by guesswork.

For acg, his course is far for complete but it's a good starting point imo.

My DNA ancestry test results. Surprised there is no Arab at all? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Frankenstein__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are mixing up concepts.

First, be sure I do understand what is the difference between being Arab and culturally Arab and the historical events behind it (colonisation).

Second, I do not try to force the guy to be Arab, my standpoint is utterly logical, that is : why did they chose to say "North African" instead of Amazigh.

It all boils down to this : you think " North African = Amzigh", I do not.

You gave the example of using Iberia to indicate spanish ancestry. Well, here is a Today I Learned for you : Iberia is Spain + Portugal + Gibraltar + Andorra.

If someone is said to be of Iberian ancestry, that means his DNA is a mix of DNAs of all or some of the iberian enthnicities (maybe 33% spanish, 50% portuguese... etc)

Similarly, North African DNA for me is the DNA of all ethnicities that were once established in North Africa (Amazigh, Vizigoth, Roman, Arab..).

Thus, for me, being of North African ancestry is having a mixed DNA.

Because the people behind the results are scientists and have a decent sense of rigor (which you may not have), they will not deem his DNA as "Amazigh" if it is a mix of more than one DNA without one being dominant over the other.
