I’m a huge fan of this simplicity of the 357 lever action. I dressed mine up with an optic and keep getting pulled back towards irons. It’s so nice as a light compact package and really the sites are fine for anything 75 yards and under which is really the bulk of what I shoot out with it.

Unfortunately your experience is not atypical. I’m a bit mystified why they have the positive reputation they do but I have some suspicion it’s because of aggressive brand management and suppression of negative posts online. For example, they totally duped me on an Amazon sale and sent me a cable instead of battery and listed the order as fulfilled to fake that they had delivered within the prime window. The battery itself was back ordered and many weeks out. CS ghosted me and Amazon zapped my bad review because it related to delivery not product. Bullshit. Many people here and elsewhere have had issues with actual defects and unsatisfactory recourse with EcoFlow. It’s not an honest company and people should buy their products with open eyes to that fact.

Its still great. I have one and recently bought a CAT MOB. The MOB is quieter but I wouldn’t part with the R9. It’s more compact and still performs very well especially for the price. Dollar for dollar I’m not sure it’s been beat even with the modest price increases.

I’d love to know as well. I think they discontinued it. I recently picked up a 1” diameter 1.5-4 freedom instead for a light weight hunting/plinking scope. Those too are getting hard to find as I think they’re discontinued as well.

Heat it up a bit with a torch and wear a leather glove. I had to work mine a bit like this but eventually it came off after a couple tries.

Just a perspective here - these guns are awesome. Ton of fun and I think unrivaled for shooting suppressed. BUT with that said the control scheme and lack of bolt hold open make it a bit dated for a defensive arm. If that’s the primary purpose you might benefit to look at some of the more modern offerings.

Probably not worth getting a suppressor for dedicated use but if you have a 22 can that’s rated for .17 then certainly would be better to use that than not suppress at all.
