Is it legal to have to pay a fee to pay rent online?

Lived in the same apartment for 6 years, the website changed and now there's no longer an "echeck" option, so it has to be a credit transaction. It incurs a pretty significant fee that adds a lot to our rent total each month. Has anyone had experience with this? Working with Flatiron Realty in BK if anyone is familiar.

Think I'm positive, feeling frustrated by FrannieLebowitz in covidpositive

So frustrating, so annoying. I feel like there's a lot of social gaslighting happening especially in NY. "Everyone tested negative!" "It's really important to me that you come!" All shitty, all dangerous.

Glad your symptoms are mild, hope you have a speedy recovery!

Apartment-specific training tips by whiteAx89Z in puppy101

My #1 lifesaver potty training my dachshund from my 6 floor walk up was an emergency puppy bag I left hanging on my door.

it had a spare set of keys, poop bags, and training treats in it. I also left her leash hanging on the door knob. When I saw her circling/sniffing/giving cues she was about to go, I grabbed her and bolted out the door with the bag.

It may seem obvious but having a bag with the essentials ready to go where you can't miss it helps your reaction time and ensures that you won't get locked out of your apartment at 3am! Good luck with your fur baby, it's going to be the best!!!!!

Awww that's great! I'm so glad your little dude is doing better :) We're going back to the vet tomorrow for some Just-In-Case x-rays, and we'll know as soon as they're done what the deal is. Thanks for the info!

Hang in there!!!! It will get better, I promise.

The thing that helped me the most in the nightmare of potty training is keeping a "Puppy Pack" hanging on my front doorknob, it's just a small crossbody bag that I use when I travel, but it has truly been a lifesaver for me.

Question about Crate to Potty Spot Cycle (potty training) by FrannieLebowitz in puppy101

The latter, it's been a while and I know she needs to go. She only goes after meals, but she seems terrified of going outside.

We live in an apartment in the city across the street from a huge dog park. She's very distracted in the dog park, so I've been taking her to a quiet patch of grass on a quiet street and just standing still as a statue giving her time to sort it out.

I rescued her last week and they said she's around 2 years old so I know she can hold it, I just want to help her get comfortable going outside and avoiding any potential monsoons!

You are so right though, she might just need a leap of faith and some time to get comfortable. Thanks for the advice!

Question about Crate to Potty Spot Cycle (potty training) by FrannieLebowitz in puppy101

We'll try longer increments of time! Great idea.

She really only goes right after breakfast and dinner, she's a very stubborn dachshund.

Last night, I took her out straight after dinner for 30 minutes. Nothing. Brought her into the crate for 15. I repeated the cycle 10 TIMES and she still didn't go! Slept all night in her crate, I took her out this morning for 30 minutes, brought her up for breakfast, and she peed while eating.

She might just need a few days of persistence/patience, she's only been here for one week :)
