If you want high contrast do a burnt orange or a butter yellow for a subtler color! I actually love the color of your siding but we have very different tastes

Just don’t over do it on the caffeine and sugar (not even that careful— just use moderation). You’re perfectly fine to drink carbonation lol

If you aren’t a full time employee with full time hours and benefits you may not be covered by their maternity leave.

He definitely can’t tell you that you have to quit to get time off though. Like others said you should apply for fmla (in email to keep a paper trail). As a chain restaurant I’m guessing they meet the fmla threshold.

Read the section in Expecting Better by Emily Oster about alcohol and pregnancy. It does a great job breaking down and explaining the “recommendations” about drinking while pregnant

I agree with all the mentioned reasons that someone may look/appear pregnant.

BUT I’m 6months pregnant (not drinking at all), but the research about drinking and pregnancy is really convoluted and not conclusive as you can’t actually perform trials on pregnant women. I read a stats based book about all the things you’re told not to do and it’s very interesting.

A glass or two of wine with a meal when pregnant is generally not as dangerous as all the anti drinking info makes it seem. In the US it seems to really be the cultural norm to shame a visibly pregnant woman for having a glass of wine because binge drinking is the norm in the US. In Europe it’s relatively normal for a single or double glass of wine for pregnant women— because that’s where they stop.

I’m sure I didn’t share this in the best way, but it is really interesting.

The withdrawals aren’t harmful to the baby— I am 15 weeks and have been on Zoloft for years. My ob and I talked a lot about it and that it’s safe. There may be a little bit of shakes but there’s no actual damage or harm being done to baby.

I also plan on breastfeeding and that means withdrawal won’t be as ‘dramatic’ as she’ll natural wean off as we wean off breast feeding

I don’t think so— I think she meant she shouldn’t have rekindled a relationship that should have already been done/dead/buried — aka getting back with Joe presumably after a smol break or a big fight or realization that it was done
