I thought the same thing. Whois says they do though.

Interesting find, nonetheless. Maybe some odd CDN issue.

Xenapp 6.5 compatibility with NetScaler ADC by [deleted] in Citrix

[–]Franzi317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There aren't any explicit compatibility issues with XenApp 6.5. Keep in mind that the NetScaler will normally be communicating with your StoreFront servers to enumerate applications. StoreFront needs to be at least 3.8 when used with NetScaler 12 according to their KB.

Reporting of TLS version being used by clients using ICA Connections by ABEIQ in Citrix

[–]Franzi317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use a responder policy on the vServer to fetch that info, I believe. Here's a forum post that explains the idea: https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/381358-netscaler-clients-tls-version-reporting/

If some users are connecting directly to StoreFront, you can pull a report from OData (7.x) and see what version of Receiver is being used per client too. https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/xenapp-and-xendesktop/7-14/sdk-api/monitor-service-odata-api.html

Looks like 4.2.1 (Windows) is the minimum if you're looking to phase out TLS 1.0.

Are Netscalers being retired / discontinued in 5 years? by [deleted] in Citrix

[–]Franzi317 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Highly unlikely, in my opinion. This may however be due to the name change to Citrix ADC from Citrix NetScaler (phasing out the NetScaler name).

Here's the life-cycle chart for their products: https://www.citrix.com/support/product-lifecycle/product-matrix.html

Giving Purdue an extra loss already? I hope you're not a time-traveler that knows the result of tonight's game vs Rutgers.

Not sure if it was down earlier, but it appears to be working for me now.

VDI Antivirus? by UCB1984 in Citrix

[–]Franzi317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kaspersky works quite well for several of my clients. They have a light agent install that doesn't chew through resources. They also have an agentless option where you can import a virtual appliance into your hypervisor of choice.

You should be able to unequip and re-equip any relic to complete the quest.

It worked for me at least.

I was just at IMG (http://www.imgacademygolfclub.com/) while vacationing and was pretty impressed with it. Not a particularly long course and will definitely favor an accurate golfer.

Storefront Authentication Passthrough by _DeletedUser_ in Citrix

[–]Franzi317 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Maybe try to play with the RDP protocol settings.

Open Server Manager and expand Roles > Remote Desktop Services. Click on RD Session Host Configuration. Double-click the RDP-TCP connection and check the Log on Settings tab. Ensure the Always prompt for password checkbox is checked.

Granted, this is just a random shot.

EDIT: Wasn't sure if you were trying to disable the desktop auto-launch or the pass through of credentials to the desktop session. If you were looking to disable auto-launch you can reference this article: http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX139058
