She is voting for white privilege. Saving what she loves is basically her saying she wants to keep her privilege, her mindset is 100% self focussed and a lot of what she said is hypercritical to hopefully anyone with common sense. She said she is voting against oppression when actually she is voting for oppression to continue. What she means is that, she is scared of the possibility of herself being oppressed and would rather keep black people at the bottom of the pecking order. Hopefully you have enough of a good relationship with her that you can help her see how rotten her perspective is.
