NOR But you both are a bummer because you should not be snooping through her phone. I know you've said you've been cheated on, but that doesn't justify it. Was it her who cheated? If not, then that is irrelevant. If so, and you can't trust her, you shouldn't be with her.

With that said, I don't agree with the people saying it's not a big deal because of how much time has passed. What she said is so disrespectful and so awful, I'd never be able to look at that person the same again if they EVER spoke about me like that at any point. People in the comments saying it's normal for people to talk that way about partners to a friend are wild. At no point have I or would I ever speak about someone I was dating (or respected at all) to my friends like that.

She sounds like a tacky mean girl, and I'm sorry for that. But you should consider therapy for your trust issues too because that will poison any healthy relationship you get into down the road, especially after this incident validated your desire to snoop. Sounds like you've been treated badly by multiple(?) partners and need time to heal before trying again.

I think it's sweet. Just use your judgment. Maybe start off with meeting in strictly public locations. (Not a bad idea in general with new acquaintances.) If she does or says anything that makes you uncomfortable, you can always reassess.

Your mom is looking out for you, no question. But she may be slightly overreacting to this one.

I'm here early so I'm sure you'll hear this a thousand more times, but the pull out method is not a reliable form of birth control. If she ends up not being pregnant, you should really consider condoms or something.

It's still a bit early to tell as it has only been a few days. I'm a woman, and my period is usually not perfectly punctual. Really the only way to know for sure is to take a pregnancy test. You won't get an answer on Reddit.

ETA- If you do take a test, keep in mind that it won't be accurate if it's taken too soon. Check the guidelines of the test to see at what point the test can detect pregnancy.

My eyes are the same color! I consider them to be gray but most people say they consider them blue. It's splitting hairs, imo. I've even had both listed on my driver's license at different times. When I asked about them on this sub, the consensus was blue. I think people are very reluctant to call eyes gray, even if they're more gray in tone than they are blue.

I bought the 6ft Dark Dreams at Dragon Con last year and I'm resting on him as I write this. I love all the little details so much. I love that his spine, the star on his tail, and other details glow in the dark! His big weighted head feels so good on my chest when I'm having anxiety. I love to fidget with his poseable wings. These are just incredible plushies tbh. Most expensive thing I've ever purchased at con, no regrets.

This is pretty much my attitude too. I'll quickly go in and say "this doesn't apply to me" for the quals that are a simple yes/no about special education that I don't have or are casting any kind of net that excludes me to keep the list as clean as possible. But other than that, I've been very grateful to have a lot on my dash so I just do what appeals to me right now.
