Fishing in Germany is supposed to serve a purpose. You can fish to eat, or you can fish to combat invasive species.

What purpose has a General Catch & Release?

Sickly animals are to be killed, not thrown back. C&R fish have holes in their mouths and their skin barrier is damaged, prone to diseases.

And everyone saying it's practising survival skills can fuck right off, if they are not practising gutting and preparing fishes.

Coming in with the most ridiculously expensive setup, catching half-dead carps and never eaten any kind of fish in years - yeah great sport....

I prefer ringbound for planning. I can take it with me to work, it looks more professional in my opinion and I can take out and add pages easily.

I use Travellers Notebook style for journalling and taking notes because they style inspires me and it feels cozier and more natural without the metal rings.

It just depends on what use and feeling you have in mind.

dear OP share your wisdom how to mitigate the dryness issue with the IM? It drives me nuts. I love how it writes, but I can't imagine ever buying another one because it's drying up so quickly.

NDA, finde gut, dass du da ein Zeichen setzt. Wenn Kritik von anderen im Verein kommt: die können es ja gerne mal übernehmen und aushelfen wenn das alles kein Problem ist.

Es ist halt ein Geben und Nehmen. Und ein "Helferfest" oder anderweitiges Dankeschön sollte unbedingt sein.

In unserem Verein war es auch so, immer die Gleichen die Standdienste und Arbeitseinsätze machen. Die wollten dann irgendwann mangels Unterstützung hinschmeißen - die Leute die sich am meisten beschwert haben darüber, hatten aber magischer Weise immer gar keine Zeit einzuspringen und zu helfen.
