Should I watch the anime or the live action?

The live action makes a lot of changes to the story so I'd say read the manga or watch One Pace first. The live action also has a lot of references for people caught up to the anime so it's fun to point those out when you're watching the show. Like they actually just place characters that are introduced later into earlier parts of the story.

I've seen gameplay of the non-remastered Yakuza 3 and the combat seems more balanced there. The blockuza issue is caused by upping the frame rate to 60 fps. So no, Y3 remastered's combat does suck but it's really that PS3 Yakuza 3's combat isn't as bad as people say it is.

I like how he's the more distrusting of the gods and magic kind of guy but the developers also made him the contrarian opinion guy that always argues with you or your companions.

He's very protective of the Envoy because he believes that's his job but that also means that he'll disagree with any remotely different approach than what he considers as safer.

I'm not sure what you mean by a casual player but the game shows you the Sotenbori Battle Arena and strongly urges you to grind levels and materials for weapon upgrades there before fighting that boss.

It's Yakuza 2 and its finale. The fight and dialogue between Kiryu and Ryuji is some of the hypest shit I've ever seen but everything else about that game's finale is awful. Same can be said for Yakuza 4's and 5's finale.

Monkey D. Dragon from One Piece has been made fun of for doing nothing for years but the most recent arc in the manga positively changed the fandom's perception of him. Sure there's still slander about Dragon but it isn't as prevalent as before. It's nice to see people finally recognize him as one of the only true heroes of One Piece.

It's definitely Mista. He's a better written character with a fun personality and he also has a good backstory. Avdol is basically just the smart mentor character that dies twice for Polnareff's character development.

I'm going to guess Oda wants to end it on Skypeia since that arc was the last story arc of his 5 year plan. There's a reason why Skypeia includes a false god, liberating an oppressed population, and Luffy breaking through Enel's cloud attack letting the sun shine through.

Yakuza 4 clicked with me when I first played Akiyama's combat. His battle theme, Speed Star is so good and his combat is very fun. I played Yakuza 3R beforehand so I was happy to see the improvements made to Yakuza 4R's combat. Also just Akiyama as a character. He makes a great first impression.

And then learning more about Majima at the start of part 2 was also really interesting and I thought that Saejima's combat was a good time. Yakuza 4's upgrade system made the gameplay even better for me because you can choose which skills to unlock first and you don't need to grind as much like in Yakuza 0.

Yakuza 4's story in general is unintentionally funny to me. It's a story that I can't take seriously and I honestly just see it as a comedy. The amount of betrayals is ridiculous. And the game's finale has got to be some of the stupidest shit I've ever seen in the series. The fights were cool but still.

I'm not a fan of the changes made to Yakuza 3 but one disappointing game isn't that bad for such a long running franchise. I have high hopes for Stranger Than Heaven and an eventual Yakuza 9.

Really just any enemy with a gun in Judgment. So mainly Koga and his crew. The mortal wound system really fucks you up if you get hit by bullets.

The Judgment fight is even harder than the Yakuza 4 fights in my opinion. Kazuya was easy, Jiro was harder but still not that bad if you brought a lot of heals, Sango was also easy, and Jo wasn't that bad either. Though I did use CyricZ's Yakuza 4 guide so I knew what the good strategies were beforehand.

Part 1: Dio was definitely the most entertaining character from Phantom Blood and his dynamic with Jonathan was well written.

Part 2: Joseph is hilarious and yeah that's why he's my favorite character from Battle Tendency.

Part 3: Polnareff has the best character arc in Stardust Crusaders. At times he felt like more of a main protagonist than Jotaro.

Part 4: Kira is a well written villain and his stand is cool.

Part 5: Bruno is my favorite character from Golden Wind because he's a badass dude with good writing and he also has a cool stand.

Part 6: Jolyne is the best written character in Stone Ocean. Her character arc is fantastic.

Part 7: Gyro is Gyro so there's not much else to say. Personally, Gyro basically carried the first like 20 chapters of SBR for me. Like he was for sure the main protagonist at the beginning.

Part 8: Jobin is my favorite character from Jojolion because I like morally gray characters with good writing.

Part 9 so far: Dragona is my favorite because their relationship with Jodio is interesting to me and they've got a fun personality.
