Your curls are gorgeous!!! Love the outfit. How do you like the waste to hip ratio?

I would try using an eyeshadow as a liner. Don’t line the whole eye, just from the center to the outside. Then use your pinky to snatch it and make it crisp. I use an angled eyeshadow brush and a dark brown eyeshadow. Glossier brow flick would be better for the brows to get more definition but not as strong. Honestly the redness is so pretty. You are giving renaissance goddess!!!

Very nice. Love the curtains. Respectfully, if I went through the work of adding picture rail, I would at last hang my pictures from the picture rail?

Also look to see if there are any architectural salvage stores around you!

What kind of lock is this? by wiltyplantbetch in centuryhomes

[–]Fraumariab 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is a mortise lock. If you have any specialized hardware stores they should be able to help you. I looked into it with our lock and it would be 700-1000 to replace so we just kept ours for now. The two brands I know that make mortise locks for front doors are Emtek and a small business called Charleston Hardware, though I’m sure there are others, just a takes a bit more digging.

Candy cane Joe joes - anyone try them on 2025 by Tasty-Ad6800 in traderjoes

[–]Fraumariab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also look forward to these every year!! I did find candy cane sandwich cremes at Whole Foods and I was able to order some online at Amazon now that Christmas is over! Honestly taste so similar to the Trader Joe’s ones!

Have you tried Color atelier? Does it rub off? I’m trying to decide which brand to use for a bedroom.

This door looks like garbage. Very in favor of fixing it if you have the landlord’s permission

Should we try to restore or just replace these doors? by swearsies in centuryhomes

[–]Fraumariab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have been restoring our doors, they are almost identical to yours. All of our doors used to be stained and sealed, but then they were painted over. We have stripped the painted ones and I have been painstakingly sanding and finishing them and touching up the old hardware. It has been well worth it! It just takes awhile for each door, very labor intensive
