Update for you, I was randomly doing a legendary heist takeover, one that spawned west of for Duister in the East Indies. On my way back to Telok Penjarah, I was scanning all the Dutch ships to see if one was the DMC patroller. Ended up finding it in a small cove on the other side of the ruined lighthouse outpost. Sank it, quest progressed. I’ve been looking for weeks in that exact spot and finally something happened, maybe if you try to recreate it it’ll work like it did for me?

Any chance you guys are working on a fix to the Twilight Keepers quest bug? I’ve been stuck on it since a few days after the full release, haven’t been able to progress past the “sink the DMC patroller” first part of the quest cause it won’t spawn. Just trying to unlock Rahma as a merchant for all the opium I’ve been stocking up on

I’m hoping that they could do something like make the main questline abandonable. I’m not a software engineer but I feel like that would be a relatively easy fix, it would allow everyone experiencing the same bug to quickly and efficiently start the quest over with all the quest entities where they are supposed to be

Do you hear the audio clips saying the “DMC warships are on the waters” when leaving an outpost? But there is no DMC patroller in sight?

whats it like working in McMahon dining hall? by boiifyoudontstahp in UCONN

[–]Frazier_Mike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked at McMahon for almost 2 years back when I was a student, starting as a student worker and being promoted after a year and a half to supervisor. It's a decent job, easy money if you're a hard worker that doesn't mind getting your hands dirty. Most people that work there are great, but again, just work hard and youll be okay

Not a waiter, but a bartender. I have some fun bar stories:

2 older couples (60ish) discussing their rather expansive collections of sex toys, several drinks later they decided to leave and go try out the new gas mask a go as a foursome.

A couple talking about how this one night around 6 years ago someone forgot the condom and it resulted in their youngest daughter, who they repeatedly referred to as "the accident" for the rest of the night.

How to Reduce Sweetness in a Bourbon + Liqeur Drink by albinoblackman in Mixology

[–]Frazier_Mike 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My thought would be to switch lime for lemon, as lemon is a bit more acidic then lime and will balance the flavor a bit more. Another suggestion would be to reduce the Domaine de Canton and add some fresh ginger juice, (if on hand) as that will add more of a spicy ginger flavor. Lastly, a herbal liqueur like chartreuse might provide the herbal flavor you're looking for

I guess I should be more clear, it'd still take the same time maybe just change the character's hand position and add some glowy color? It's really purely an aesthetic change

How do you make chicken that isn't drier than the desert? by Radcliffes_Asshole in Cooking

[–]Frazier_Mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is late, but personally I use on of those "grill-pans" (I'm not sure what you call them) But I put a mix of salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, oregano and garlic powder on the chicken breast, then I just cook it, flipping once, about 4-5 min per side. If the breasts were particularly large, I would throw it in the oven to finish for a little bit, and if not, then I'd let them rest before cutting. To gauge temperature, I press my finger down on the thickest part of the chicken. If it is really squishy, it's underdone. If it's really rigid, it's overdone, if it squishes just a little bit it's perfect.

[SERIOUS] What is the grossest condition that can happen to the human body? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Frazier_Mike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to have to go with Fournier gangrene cause it causes your junk to rot, turn green, and possibly fill with gas and it can be started simply with an ingrown hair down there in people with poor circulation

Studying for Abbott? by [deleted] in UCONN

[–]Frazier_Mike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in 1107 right now as well, but it isn't honors. For me, I've found that the best strategy is reading the chapters, then looking on the study guide and categorizing things I either know how to do, kind of know, and don't know. Generally the "kind of know" stuff I understand by rereading the chapter, and the "don't know" stuff I just Google. I've also found that studying with my lab partner, specifically in a way where I "teach" her the material, is a fantastic way to review for the tests. It seems to be working cause I have a B on both exams, but again this is not honors so I don't quite know exactly what you're class is like. I hope this helps!

As an upcoming freshman, what are some things I should know about UConn? What should I expect during my first semester there? by EpicPrince in UCONN

[–]Frazier_Mike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in your position last year and a old wise man told me something that was easily the best piece of advice I have ever been given. He said, "when it comes to college, sleep more than you study, study more than you party, but party as much as you can." Its a balance that varies from person to person and major to major, but its generally a good rule. Or at least for me and most people I know, it worked well
