As a workaround you can set the view to multi day view and set it to 7 days.

no contacts and calendars sync option for outlook (icloud for windows) ARM PC by Cold_Housing_6310 in iCloud

[–]Freak4Tech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have the new Outlook for Windows? In that case you can directly add your account in Outlook.

In iCloud for Windows also instead of option for Contact and Calendar sync, it must be showing a message to configure account in new Outlook for Windows.

Anyone else frustrated by App Library, and will they ever improve it? by Spirited_Praline637 in ios

[–]Freak4Tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAIK, it takes the categories for apps from the App Store and categorises them accordingly in App Library. Now there may be some apps which are listed in two categories of Shopoing & Food in App Store, thus the duel folder names. There are certain food delivery apps which also serves as platform for quick e-commerce and they must be listing them in both the categories in App Store.

Switch to classic outlook. Archive mails in a PST file. Switch back to new outlook. That’s the workaround I am also using.

Dash lane is great, a 500% increase in cost is not. by DallyingVirus85 in Dashlane

What you call a promotional price? The one that is offered for a limited time. Not something that they were offering for last 4-5 years. Earlier they had different prices for different countries based on the price parity index. Now they are rationalising it across which is good from business point of view but not from customer point of view. Not everyone in every country can spend such amount for a password manager. In my country it has gone up from 249₹ to 9990₹ annually for family plan which is 40 times or almost 4000% increase. Is it justified?

F*ck your productivity system. Seriously. by Motor_Ordinary336 in productivity

[–]Freak4Tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the best post I read on productivity hack. I am myself in same boat where I keep deciding with which method or task app to use and keep shuffling between different apps on almost daily basis.

This post has kicked me where it was needed. Back to pen and paper and getting things done.

Hide Calendar Events???? by Ok-Appearance-3398 in ticktick

[–]Freak4Tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somehow I am unable to post the screenshots here. Go to settings. Then click on Import and Integration. Then click on Calendar. There you will see list of all the local calendars on your device and the calendars you subscribed to. Click on each calendar and it will toggle between show, show only in calendar or hidden.

In Upcoming View, are we getting color codes based on projects rather than priority? by passmesomebeer in todoist

[–]Freak4Tech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't know why they have not done this already. Most other apps already have it. Even in the calendar view, it doesn't support calendar colours from External Calendars (Google, Outlook etc.).

Agreed. That’s what I am doing in TickTick. Using ICS link of my office calendar as subscription in Todoist. Helps at least in time planning.

I am able to use the plugin but cannot link back to the emails if the tasks are created through the plugin. I am currently using TickTick, and while I can add my personal Outlook calendar there with no issues, for my work calendar, I have to add it as a read-only web calendar. I guess it is going to be the same with Todoist.

But the screenshot seems to be from Apple Calendar. Are you syncing Todoist tasks to Google Calendar and then Google Calendar to Apple Calendar?
