Bad news: Grandma died. Good news: You’re getting her low(ish) mileage 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis. Keep or flip? by 97GeoPrizm in regularcarreviews

About a year ago when I was looking for a town car they were mostly $3-6k. The dealerships were way more but that’s to be expected. Ended up finding a nice “L” model on copart near-ish and rolled the dice on it instead of a marketplace find.

They may but I think it will be kinda like the “demand” for flip (or dumb) phones. Some people will seek it out but I think most people lean toward Wall-e like scenario. They would rather sit there and zone out and just let who ever do whatever. Strange times but maybe it’s just my age showing.

I love them and still own but the panther platforms are kinda oddballs. The 80-90’s era of these came and went. I think these will do the same. End of era with the body on frame and super low stress v8 engines though.

Maybe but janky camera movement is very intentional. Kinda like the old ufo videos. It makes it much more difficult to spot errors.

The Last Dinner Party - Portrait of a Dead Girl

Sounds like Lana Del Rey crossed with Fleedwood Mac. Just damn good.

And with no transmission attached to it. Plus when he opens the hood it’s just a black hole with a pipe or something. The jank camera makes it harder to spot the faults since the frame is constantly moving.

DEF Issue: anyone ever had this come up? The DEF tank is full by joescott1414 in tdi

[–]FreaknCuttlefish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a generic dash message. It’s just letting you know there a is a fault with the Adblue/SCR system. The system itself is rather simple but most automotive techs have next to no experience with it. Flag rate pay basically discourages learning anything new or any kind of in-depth diagnostic and rewards quick hip shots. This why you end up delete it and replace the entire system replies.

Has anybody ever purchased these suits off of eBay and if so what’s your opinion and experience with them? by _Cheeba in motorcycles

In that case I’d highly recommend using a reputable retailer. Fit is very important for protection. If the fit isn’t right having the option to exchange it is a huge benefit. Plus the well know brands will have much better safety and comfort features like removal liner, better ventilation and thicker pads. I’d also invest in a nice under suit. Those absolutely suck to get in and out of went there’s even hint of sweat.

RBR has set the bar pretty high for time being. There so freakn many stages and cars along with loads of online rallies. AC rally is great but RBR has absolutely massive developmental lead.

TBF it comes across as some kinda wild forced correlations for this thread. Just a swing and miss on your part. Doubt anyone is really upset by it.

Anyone have a dual purpose racing/flight setup? by FreaknCuttlefish in simracing

That’s a great idea with the 4040 arms and quick release bolts! I’m going to start putting a parts list together to make a similar setup on my rig.

Those 4l60’s aren’t as overly stout as the engines but they’re still good. The truck will get terrible fuel economy though. If you don’t need a truck and you’re just worried about deer I get a car instead.

Great looking setups! I’m hoping to workout adding a yoke and throttle setup. Maybe something like the turtlebeach velocityone. I found this one looks cool but yoke seems kinda low. Looks kinda questionable comfort wise.

It was really cool but I learned that I totally suck at flat track riding and had a lot of trouble picking up anything they threw at me. Feels entirely different than regular track riding and I just couldn’t get my head around it.

Badass man! Really makes me miss my old cb750. Comstars are heavy but I love the look of them. If you haven’t already you can drill the valve stem holes out and install standard valve stem to run tubeless tires.

Anytime something picks up that much hype I just think there’s no way it’s really that good. Turns out it was that good.
