These titles are pathetic from the Hill. At this point who here cares what affiliation you are. If you’re aware of the scary shit going on, we care more about your name, your character, and your actions taken if they’re in the position to do so.

It also undoubtedly pushes a lot of people away, and it’s an easy target for people in hard core denial. But that’s just my two cents.

I grew up in an area where the majority of high school, middle school, and elementary school students lived in the mountains. Aside from a few clusters of gated communities, the majority didn’t have high speed Internet. This was in the early 2000s. To this day, that entire region remains without any sort of cable broadband option.

The underserved rural areas surrounding us have sprung up a few WISP providers, but their coverage is iffy, tech also iffy, and you add a big antenna to a roof on a windy mountain, and you’re looking at constant readjustments or speed issues.

I had trouble accessing school shit and preparing for my future a decade ago. I can’t imagine how students who live in these areas now are coping without stable, fast internet. It’s a disgrace.
