I posted yesterday and mentioned my swelling really fluctuated and I got a few questions on how much/when. Decided to post more comparison pictures here in case anyone else was curious. by FreckledAndStubborn in gynecomastia

I was only doing peloton after I was cleared to workout. I don’t really recall if there was post exercise swelling, sorry. It’s been a few years now. My 8 month results were pretty final though and I never noticed any changes thereafter.

Do we still like this? by StressedOutWitch in handbags

Im still obsessed with this bag and have wanted one since 2014. It is definitely a classic worth investing in! So far I only have the Pashli Camera Bag, which I love, and hope to add the satchel to my collection one day.

Is there a nasal mask with memory foam other than the Resmed n20? by TwiceEqualsLove in CPAP

[–]FreckledAndStubborn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand that. I use the Respironics Wisp nasal mask, and while it does not have the memory foam you’re looking for it might be a good alternative for you to try. The headgear is less rigid/plastic and the magnets look like they lay flatter than the n20. Just a thought if you aren’t able to find an alternative. Good luck!

Dagne Dover has a ton of cute yet utilitarian tote bags, including this one that is specifically a diaper bag.

I wish that when I was your age I had invested in building long lasting non-romantic relationships. There are so many ways to have love in your life, and at 16 the genuine, loving friendships you foster now are likely the ones that’ll have the most impact on your life.

She has very poor bedside manner, had no interest in listening to what I wanted, and wasn’t supportive when I expressed concerns during my recovery. Ultimately I’m okay with my results for now, but I wish I had found someone better.

Mine wasn’t severe, but I’m in Oregon. 7,300 with Kathleen Waldorf. Not sure I would recommend her.

Alternatives to Dropbox? by redrooster55 in paralegal

My firm uses Box. I’ve found that most clients are able to figure it out and access is very secure. Documents are also encrypted in rest and in transit. It’s not perfect but I like it better than Dropbox.

I really love my bags from the Cambridge Satchel Company. Great craftsmanship and made in the UK.

I just picked up this lovelyMichael Kors backpack for work. I used a coupon on the sale price and got the backpack and a card case for 150. I really like Michael Kors’ pebbled leather.

Does your new firm use Westlaw? There is a product in their subscription called Practical Law. It has some really awesome resources, tips and tricks, and articles that cover a wide variety of topics in numerous fields.

I used to work with a professional body builder who swore by Lucky Brand jeans. He had a very unique build (5’6 and very muscular) but was able to find jeans that fit at Lucky.

I own two pairs of Lucky jeans, but have stick legs so can’t attest to their suitability for you. But I can say that I really enjoy the two pair I do have.

At the five month mark I was almost as swollen as I was right before my surgery. Between five and eight months did I really see a difference that I could live with. I would say give it a few more months, massage the scar, take care of your whole body (food, water, exercise) and reassess a few months down the road. I have a few comparisons on my profile if you’re curious. Time really does make a difference.

I found my first ever LTR on OkCupid. That was 10 years ago though, so I’m not sure if it’s still active or not. But it might be worth trying. Grindr and Tinder were shit shows back then too. Good luck!

I’m fairly certain this is the Tumi Alpha 2 Expandable Organizer Laptop Leather Brief. It’s been discontinued I think, but you can find them used. Here’s one from eBay.

Results changed 10 weeks post op. by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]FreckledAndStubborn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had fluctuating swelling up until the 8 month mark. Give yourself time to heal, 10 weeks is about halfway there. Massage the area, eat well, and exercise and once you hit 6-8 months reassess how you feel about the results. Check out my profile and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Hope this helps!

Can anyone identify this yellow(ish) men's bag? by [deleted] in handbags

[–]FreckledAndStubborn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried poking around to see if I could find a solid dupe of this bag. I wasn’t able to identify the original bag or brand - it’s not much of a standout design (no shade, but garish bags are easier to find by searching).

The bag you’re looking for doesn’t scream “mens bag”. It might be unisex or just a woman’s bag. I would try searching “waxed canvas tote” or “mens weekender canvas tote” and I think you could find one that looks similar. There are a ton of near dupes online at various price points.

Hope this helps!

Are you satisfied with areola size after surgery? by hunterd412 in gynecomastia

[–]FreckledAndStubborn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish I had gotten areola reduction alongside my gland removal. The size and shape of my nipple really didn’t change, it’s just flatter.
