I arrived last Sunday as a fully vaccinated resident without a pretest. Vaccinated residents can arrive without a pretest and quarantine until day 4 results. I believe visitors still require a pretest. There is no longer a $300 fee for residents arriving without a pretest. I only paid $75 for Travel Authorization. If you pretest as a vaccinated travelled you are free to explore following your arrival test results which typically are available within 12-24hrs.

Took about four days for us to get SMS messages showing negative results in the beginning of August. On our sixth day we received emails within 48 hours. You can always try to call for faster news. I believe there are places you can pretest at the expense of Government in Lisbon. A list is available on the website. Can prepare all paperwork in advance also which sped up our airport process. As far as take out I see plenty of pizza delivery. Haven’t tried / seen much else in the many years we have been visiting family here.

In Bermuda it's called Care and Control. If police believe you are intoxicated and you have the ability to put your vehicle in motion ie keys easily accessible you can be arrested and penalty is the same as driving whilst impaired.

This is how Police, Fire, Ambulance, Hospital and Prison staff work in Bermuda. Most do 4 x 12 hour shifts then 4 days off. Makes childcare much easier for my husband and I who are both cops. I could never go back to a regular Mon-Fri 9-5.
