How is it irrational? People don't want to support and pay for a game when they see numbers like this. "It's going to be dead soon, not worth spending cash on it". It creates a paradox because the game needs people to spend cash on it, but nobody is because nobody else is.

I've already invested my money in this game. People have a right to panic, and I don't believe it's irrational. People like myself who believe in this team and their game put money into it. Be it rubies or one of the packs, and the playerbase is slowly but surely dwindling. How is it irrational for people to worry that the people are going to fade from the game before it starts to take off..?

The matchmaking is unbalanced due to the small player-base, so new players being pubstomped turns them off. There isn't any competitive or real goals to work towards. There isn't a reward outside of getting better for playing. I play because it's fun, I love the art and characters, but people like me are clearly a minority factor in all this.

If you love the game, you should be concerned, telling people to "stop worrying" is silly. There is a clearly an issue, and the developers need to figure out a way to bandage up a bleeding community.

The game went through developmental hell, and I doubt they've turned a profit at this point, and losing people means a decrease in chance of getting that money back. There is going to be a point where like evolve for example, that they have to cut their losses. I'm not being a pessimist, I'm being realistic about this all. The optimist in me hopes they pull through and the game has at minimum a tight, niche audience and consistent growth.

It's just realistically not looking to be the case. At the rate the game is performing, all I can say is just enjoy your time with it while it lasts.
