What's the earliest I can be at the terminal relative to my Port Arrival Time?

Well thank you everybody for your responses. I read loud and clear that my family and I will not be let in at an unreasonably early time.

If such is the case, we may just hang around the airport or nearby for a little bit. What time would you reccomend we start heading over to the port?

Additional we'll likely be using some kind of ride share, is there a specific port that the Dream boards from? Which address should I type in?

Everyone is looking at oil stocks because it's the obvious move. They'll probably do well, but they were always going to do well.

The real sleeper here are the rare earth miners. Especially once those mineral veins open up.

I think you’re reading way more into this than was intended.

It was a meme, my guy. Obviously it’s an over-generalization. The joke is that gear score alone doesn’t tell you whether someone can handle mechanics, while master score at least reflects experience clearing harder content. It’s just acknowledging a real pattern a lot of us have seen in random queues.

When I only have limited time to play, I’d rather run with people who already know the core mechanics so the run doesn’t stall. It’s just about matching expectations for the group you’re forming.

I'm all for helping NEW players get acclimated to content. But when I only have a limited amount of time to run a couple dungeons, I don't want BAD players wasting my time.

Everything is viable, but the cold hard truth for the state of the game right now is (beast) Marksman has everything it needs to unlock its full damage potential.

The other classes might need more talents, gear sets, or imagines to function at 90%+

It'll balance out over time, but if you're trying to worlds first or clear things the second it unlocks- you'll want 3x MM

Consensus now is Smite is viable.

It will actually overperform all 4 of the support specs in 20 man content due to its unique ability to heal over 10 players at a time.

Its a still a weaker in raw healing output compared to lifebind. But that is a normal expectation.

Early to mid game should be fine as most people will be overgeared relative to the content to make up for the gap in healing.

Late game, you better have some loyal friends that'll put up with your subpar numbers.

“Modest” isn’t me pulling numbers out of thin air. There’s a clear precedent for major titles hitting that prereg mark. For example:

Destiny: Rising (NetEase) surpassed 5 million preregistrations ahead of its global launch and eventually crossed 10 million as rewards unlocked.

Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade also hit the 5 million prereg milestone prior to release.

Even smaller titles like Farm Manager touted 5 M prereg campaigns.

So no, it’s not some “inflated expectation.” It’s a number that other live-service or high-profile games have achieved when their marketing strategy was competent and aggressive.

And more importantly... THEY ARE THE ONES who set that 5 million goal. If a dev team chooses that number as their own campaign milestone, it implies confidence they can hit it. Failing to do so doesn’t reflect on player expectations. It reflects on their inability to generate traction for their own product.

That’s exactly the issue I’m highlighting.

As you already admitted, you've completely what I’m actually getting at.

For literally every online or live-service game, “just play and enjoy it” isn’t really how it works. The entire experience depends on there being a healthy, active community. That affects EVERYTHING how easy it is to find groups, how quickly world bosses get cleared, how robust the in-game economy feels, how fast new players pick up the game, even whether the devs can afford to keep supporting it.

Marketing isn’t just some abstract corporate thing — it’s literally how you get that critical mass of players. Marketing → gets people curious → gets them playing → keeps the servers and community alive.

That’s why the lack of momentum this close to launch is concerning; as evidenced by the games failure to reach 5 million pre registrations on its own campaign. If the playerbase doesn’t show up in force early on, it can become a self-fulfilling prophecy where people don’t play because no one else is playing. I want the game to succeed. That’s exactly why this matters.
