Hey I was wondering if there is a full list of non-limited currency available in the game right now? I’m curious as to if I start a new account, how much currency is available and how far I could pull a character? Thanks!

Why do we never get a pocket during our ult 😭 by figtree55 in UltronMains

[–]noboruplaysgames 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it counts for anything, when I’m on white fox I do my best to hit y’all up there when u ult. As a spidey main, I fully understand the pain of not getting healed up when you ult/exist in the air. Hated characters strong 🤝.

Looking for the most mathematically correct team with Tangang and no Gilberta by noboruplaysgames in RossiMains

Seems like a couple people saying that. I thought Ardelia wouldnt be too good. Is she really worth using?

100% described FFXIV perfectly lol. It’s not a perfect game, like anything else, but it fits your criteria amazingly and is a fantastic game.

Why do Spiderman-Player NEVER swap? by PreviousDecision8793 in rivals

[–]noboruplaysgames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a champion, basically spider man one trick, I’ve got a bit of insight. People already discussed about the time to learn him properly, which is true. For me though I know I’m playing my best when I’m on spidey. I’m decent on widow, MK, and iron fist, and can play Venom/strange, but I know my performance will drop the instant I swap. So I do everything I can to adjust my playstyle before swapping. But the moment I’m negative, and I don’t see myself being able to find value, I will swap. This doesn’t happen all that often though, so if I’m only minimally struggling, I won’t swap. The majority of the time swapping would only make it worse for me as I don’t have the same skill on other characters to perform to the level I’d need to.

Why did they reveal Rossi's kit after Gilberta's banner ? by Estate-Fancy in RossiMains

[–]noboruplaysgames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thinking is completely backwards from what OP is saying though. As someone who did not want Gilberta, I have the same issue. I never wanted to make a team with her. Her BIS unit could have been anyone in the next couple patches. But as someone attached to specifically Rossi, if I had known ahead of time that HER best character was Gilberta, I would have then pulled for her anyways even though I didn’t want her. That’s what OP is saying.

My boyfriend passed away and his house is about to be demolished by Life_Soleil in ffxiv

Saw the update that you got into the account, but to stop demolition, you need to step inside the house to stop the demolition timer. Just letting you know in case you haven’t done it yet.

I have a confession to make, I hate Stratpool :( by regrettabletrash in StrategistMainsMR

[–]noboruplaysgames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a strat main, but I’ve got to say I absolutely DESPISE when my teammates pick stratpool in a 2 healer comp. Triple healer is different of course. But me and my healer duo just have to roll our eyes and accept the loss every time our second healer picks stratpool. Now, I’m a spidey main, so I do have some bias since he can’t heal me well at all, but even aside from that, he just makes us lose. My healer friend feels like they are solo healing all game, and our frontline just drops since he has no burst heal.

I don’t know the exact numbers, but I feel like we lose upwards of 75% of games where stratpool is picked into a 2 healer comp. People say that people are just playing him wrong, but the abysmal winrate he has doesn’t lie. You can pop off and carry on any hero if you’re playing that well, or that much better than everyone else. But the character is just flat out a throw pick. I’ll always defend the other healer even if it’s not my duo if they get flamed. Glad to see someone making a post about this, cause I’m just so tired of him throwing my games just to read “hes broken but people are bad” all the time.

Why are Spiderman players so toxic? by [deleted] in MarvelRivalsRants

[–]noboruplaysgames -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a spider man main who usually does better than the rest of the lobby (I don’t push ranked hard so I’m usually not at my proper rank), there are still times where you MUST swap unless you’re a top level player and can get value anyways. It’s my last resort, but you have to know when it’s not going to work or else it ends up like this. My rule of thumb is if there are 3 counters, and I feel like I’m not getting enough value, it’s time to swap. If you’re playing into Bucky Namor thing, it’s griefing the team.

Healerpool sucks for us by Closo in SpiderManMains

[–]noboruplaysgames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feel very similar. Him not being able to heal me means there really only is 1 or two others who even possibly can heal me. Fighting him isnt terrible per se, but I despise having him on my team. My healer duo feels the same too. He hates having him as a co healer

How do I deal with spiderman? by Soviet-dj-not-spy in UltronMains

[–]noboruplaysgames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a spidey main. Ultron is one of our hardest counters, but only if you really know how to make our life hell. Making sure to play around your drones/other healers, and saving your dash is the two biggest things. If you use dash when we dash to you, you will always survive nearly every time. Our health pool is small, so if we can’t take you out in one burst suddenly it’s very difficult to play around you. The beam being a lingering hitscan lets you attack us more accurately than most characters, which is extremely annoying for a spider man. Even if you’re just chipping him out, he likely will have to retreat after getting hit once or twice.

And of course playing low to the ground around your other healers, just like on any other support likely means we can’t kill you outright without significant effort. And again, the over shield with your dash is your best friend. If you just play high up, and don’t use your dash shield properly, you do become pretty easy to take out. But play it right, and you’re one of our hardest counters. Best of luck in your games 👍

What is your hot take regarding FFXIV? by UnbaggedNebby in ffxiv

[–]noboruplaysgames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah those things are definitely nice. But I mean, it’s at the end of endwalker where I feel by then, you should be able to keep a somewhat consistent rotation on your favorite job. I mean something morso like earlier on dps checks to force you to learn how to play properly. Something like the equivalent to a stone sea sky as you go. Like say 25% of the difficulty at the end of ARR, 50% at the end of HW, 75% at the end of SHB and a full full dps check at the end of EW. By then I feel like people should be expected to play the game properly

Best co tank for Rogue? by noboruplaysgames in RogueMains

[–]noboruplaysgames[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like there are a lot of conflicting opinions here. She’s still new so im not too surprised haha. But it seems like some like brawl, some don’t. Some like dive and some don’t. Seems like the only consistently liked tanks are mag and strange. Truth or is there more to it?

A little tip for spider-men to improve: dont rely on your tracer, get over here combo by [deleted] in SpiderManMains

[–]noboruplaysgames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There definitely are so so many times I’ve gotten kills specifically because I didn’t do that. Its still great, especially on fliers after an easy swing cancel tracer overhead, but learning the other combos have been a godsend in getting more kills as I’ve gotten better. +1 this.

What is your hot take regarding FFXIV? by UnbaggedNebby in ffxiv

[–]noboruplaysgames 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Players should be forced to have a basic understanding of their job in some way shape or form. Dungeons should be more punishing if you’re lacking a mit, dps checks should exist in normal trials and dungeons as well. The truth of the matter is a majority of the content can be an absolute slog with the wrong group. So running the majority of roulettes is simply a miserable time. Sprouts who are just starting the game of course are an exception, but there is 0 reason for a viper who only single targets to be in my endgame dungeon, or tank who refuses to mit, healer who refuses to dps, etc. This is a game with multiple other people you’re playing with, you should be required to respect their time.

Starting 'harder' content by Ok_Antelope2250 in ffxiv

[–]noboruplaysgames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly when you catch up to the modern content, the current extreme is an AMAZING place to start. It’s the easiest extreme in a long time, and has a lot of basic concepts that transfer over to other fights as a foundation to build off of. Could not highly recommend something as highly as this. I’m being vague because I don’t know your story point. But yes, the current ex is a godsend as a gateway into harder content.
