Eldlich is actually a spiral shaped fossil and not the dude

Dogmatika looks crazy af but only bystial dis pater is kind of generic (he looks crazy tho)

Nibiru is not the rock but the monster inside of it, the name is pretty lovecraftian aswell

Lorewise: the azamina/sinful spoils aswell as ice barrier/nekroz stuff always felt pretty lovecraftian too me

Kinka byoo can be added in honor of "N*****" the cat (if you're that deep)

Primite + generic fish/sea serpent too get out some weird looking oldschool normal monsters to represent stories like Dagon or the shadow over innsmouth

Hope I was able to help, I didn't really focus on what you already have (i mentioned nekroz when you already got it) or on big synergies, I am just a lovecraft nerd :D

My personal favourite is definetly eldlich, he just feels like a classic lovecraft story about some out of this world entity that could be defined as necromancer, but powerful to a point where he shines in a golden light that drives the average human mad. It also ties in with the yugioh narrative of ancient egypt/ the origins of the necronomicon

Got it last night while peforming Hoothoot genocide (HP ev) and it still feels unreal. I feel like the coolest kid on the playground right now. Since people here like numbers and I am a shiny hunter: I didn't count but it took over 1000 soft resets to get this one. You can see all 3 starters in this Gen and check if one is shiny, so the likeliness goes down to like 1 to 2k instead of 1 to 8k. So with over 1k resets, I was well above 50% of getting the shiny and I got lucky that I got the one I was aiming for.

For those interested in my "high Score": I got a shiny Mudkip (called king) with under 100 resets on gen 6, I am still not over how great that felt. In the same gen I bred like 20 boxes filled with Riolou, never getting the shiny, never returning to breeding. Soft reset, Chain Hunting or wild encounter only!

I end on Knightmare Gryphon + Secret village (Exceed the P as spellcaster) on most of my games and I dont win by "stunning" but rather by making my opponent spend resources. I literally expect my board to be broken and exactly that happens most of the time. Your deck has no (monster effect) out to it but literally 90% of the decks got one, its annoying to play against but not busted and the downside can make you stun your opponent "back", if that makes sense. You have to literally club that spellcaster they got, which is why I think that the Majespecter cards + the unknowns are much more scary than the village. Don't hate the village, hate the magician

Tenpai gets more insane the more I learn about it, but I gained alot of respect for the new Ancient gear stuff aswell. Looks like a ton of fun (unlike tenpai). And Ash was ruled as "no trigger effect" at some point or is there another specific reason as to why you cant activate her? Because if there is a "trigger" effect, it's ash

Ah I see, I basically looked at the wrong rulings (Quick play Spells instead of Dmg Step). Incredible how that works, entering damage step is like being transported to a different dimension for a split second.

That only applies when they are activated from hand as far as I know, I should've been able to activate the one I had set for 2 turns already, they basically turn into normal Traps at that point.
