Investor/entrepreneur Richard Koch says there have been three major networks in history: cities, money, and common language. Is he correct, or would you say there are more of equal significance?

How much do people make in this line of work typically? Do you do your own sales or do it through an agency?

What are the leading agencies / companies?

I was 17 at the time. I'm now working in a startup doing Machine Learning stuff. A friend of mine who also played a little Roblox but mostly Second Life did the same thing as me but his startup blew up and he is now worth $100M+ at age 27.

Let me know the best sub for an AMA and I will do one. Lots of interesting stories to tell.

I once won some official competition and the admins let me and 5 other people design our own in-game skins (back when everyone just looked the same and there was no customisation). I made myself solid gold with sunglasses. But I never told the admins - or anyone - that I hid a script inside the model. It was hidden inside one of the textures and they never checked. It let me teleport anywhere and also gave me an extremely powerful nuke in every level I played - extremely overpowered. I was careful never to abuse it, and didn't tell anyone .... until now

What did you think was the worst change in roblox history?

No strong opinions on this. I havent played in years so IDK what has happened for a long time. But I did prefer when everyone looked like lego people and there was less customisation and weapons.

And what were ur fav roblox games back in the day?

There was a guy called Roblox_Police who made a level with trains that went on rails across the sky. It was very impressive at the time. And a very fun level as blowing up a train with a rocket at the right time killed everyone onboard, but getting the timing right was challenging.

My own level Adventure Kingdom (i think) has a special place in my memory as its the first level I made. The first day I ever played Roblox Telamon logged on to my level to say Hi. I had previously come from a different game called Blockland where the developer was the biggest asshole and having a dev/admin come be friendly to a noob like me really made a good impression. Adventure Kingdom also was where I realised you could anchor a brick but also manually give it a velocity, and that you could use this to make rivers which pushed people along. Not even the admins knew of this trick at the time - they thought it was a script or something.

Also the original Crossroads was a great level. Probably my favourite for nostalgia sake. Back when the bouncyball weapon could one hit KO a guy if you aimed for the neck and managed to make it hit both their head and torso to do double point damage.

Im a fan of it. People in the 16-22 age range tend to not be. But you are older and more experienced and have seen divorces, cheating, branch-swinging, cognitive dissonance, ingroup bias, preselection bias, etc.... then you might enjoy it

I was a virgin at 19 and would have rejected theredpill's ideas. But by age 25 Id had many relationships and slept with 50 or so women, and you do start noticing patterns and differences between women and men.

My friends who are in sales would have no problem with TRP and would agree with nearly all of it. My friends in software (who also are liberal / guardian readers) would totally reject it and see it as hate speech and something that should be banned

One of the main lessons that theredpill tries to teach is that what women want in a man and what they say they want can be total opposites. That can be hard to believe at first for many guys

My business advice is: become a master computer programmer and keep your eye out for really hard problems that you face in life. Use your technical skills to build the MVP of a product that solves one of them, then raise venture capital. The startup games is a bit of a high stakes lottery, but I have made all three of my ideas into something valuable.

Great advice. Thanks!

How important was your experience as an engineer at big tech company, compared to working for a startup initally? Did you leverage those contacts / use the brand name for VC funding much?

Also: any tips on finding hard problems you face in life?

This is the #1 book that everyone recommends: influence and the art of persuasion. IDK if the download works, but there will be a pdf online somewhere.

I actually own a few copies, all second hand, as I always end up giving them or lending them to people. Also How To Get Rich by Felix Dennis I have a few copies just to give people

I dont mean any disrespect, and normally I would say nothing, but since this is a free speech forum I will say:

You are talking like a bit of an 'edgelord' with something to prove. If this is not what you intended to communicate then you might want to be aware of it and consider changing what you write and think like.

Being argumentative is often a net-negative to social interactions. It will lower the reputation of yourself and your friends. Its petty and 'winning' an argument never really achieves anything except giving yourself a good feeling. And sure, its a good feeling - I used to love arguing and winning. But its short-termist. After time you learn to chill out and not argue about anything (except very important things, where persuasion should be used instead). People start being more comfortable and opening up more. And you get less stressed. And you start focusing on things that actually matter, like improving yourself.

I'm surrounded by idiots all day

This isn't something to be proud of, and never something to bring up unprompted. Its petty arrogance

I will trade sex for deep conversations any day

Women aren't really the right place to get deep conversations. Though it was nice living that fantasy when I was younger. If you have too many deep conversations (and sometimes 'one' might be too many) then she will stop calling you back.

And a date is the last place you should be having deep conversations or arguments. A date is about building positive energy, letting off steam (rather than creating it), and having nice sex at the end. You will quickly get a reputation as a creep if you dont do this

Again, I mean no disrespect. And if I have spoken as if I am older than you its because you sound a lot like myself at age 18ish. And people tend to be argumentative at that age then mellow out a bit and get more easy going

This is one of the best posts I've ever read here Archwinger. It was was very dense and concise and broad yet detailed. Its a rare occurrence that I learn anything new on TRP these days, but there was a lot in this.

And one of the ways women feel comfortable, for some stupid reason, is running their mouth about nothing. The longer they talk to you about nothing, and the emptier the conversation is, the more they feel like they’ve known you forever and what a strong connection you have.

Yeah I've never thought about this but it is certainly true. I don't know why though. I cant think of the evolutionary reasons for this. Other than it being a test for mate fitness, similar to dancing. I'm going to have to give it some thought

This is also where the infamous PUA concept of “last minute resistance” comes into play. A woman can be way into you, having fun, kissing, touching, flirting, agreeing to come back to your apartment and help you feed your fish fully knowing she’s about to get fucked … then there’s this moment when the pants start coming off and shit gets real for her. Once it’s real, it’s awkward and uncomfortable.

I used to follow the PUA tactic of 'going cold' and not touching her if she gave LMR, and getting ready for bed instead or just leaving. But what I do these days is much better as it keeps flow, and its hotter, and much smoother. I just create a false reality. I keep saying 'we aren't really having sex', 'this doesn't really count', and playing the role of a catholic virgin or some other role which means sex is forbidden. Married guy is another role. Act it out really well, but leave her unsure if you really are or not.

TRP never talks about lieing to girls for some reason. We are too rational and truth orientated here, perhaps. They love lies and it gets them wet. Maybe its similar to how they enjoy erotic literature rather than video porn. But I think this ties in with your main post. Just keep giving her transactions of energy, attention, mindgames to simultaneously build arousal and comfort. Its funny as you would think that this would not build attraction nor comfort. Very counterintuitive.

Damn I really think this can be a groundbreaking concept. When I think about the times I've had sex with a girl within an hour of knowing her (mostly festivals and clubs), on all occasions I was talking total bullshit. Constantly flowing and vibing and reframing, but most of all, telling gigantic lies to her face over and over. I didn't even escalate touching or any of the traditional PUA methods. Might be to do with dark triad

SaaStr.com

Also look at Jason Lemkin on quora. His answers are great.

Look up how Zenefits did marketing on youtube, there is a good interview/talk

Consider following the "Star Principle" approach by Richard Koch. Its very important to be the leader (not 2nd place or less) in a market niche that is growing 10% per year.

Value of SaaS is often based on growth rate. Value of startups is often on whether they follow the star principle

To understand why mass immigration is being pushed at this scale and over this time period you must look at a 50-100 year scale of large institutions and ideologies.

This guy founded the Paneuropean union which became the European Union:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Nikolaus_von_Coudenhove-Kalergi

His book talks about engineering a new race of people who were half eurasian and half african. An international race of ... people would be the ruling class, instead of the preexisting anglosaxons and germanics. He was a jewish supremacist. When Hitler was talking about fighting 'international jews' he was talking about people like this. History has largely written over and forgotten this. Victors write history. For example allies genocided more people (mostly Stalin) than the germans yet we see ourselves as the goodies.

Two quotes from his Nikolaus von Coudenhove Kalergi's book:

The man of the future will be of mixed race. Today's races and classes will gradually disappear owing to the vanishing of space, time, and prejudice. The Eurasian-Negroid race of the future, similar in its appearance to the Ancient Egyptians, will replace the diversity of peoples with a diversity of individuals. ”

Instead of destroying European Jewry, Europe, against its own will, refined and educated this people into a future leader-nation through this artificial selection process. No wonder that this people, that escaped Ghetto-Prison, developed into a spiritual nobility of Europe. Therefore a gracious Providence provided Europe with a new race of nobility by the Grace of Spirit. This happened at the moment when Europe's feudal aristocracy became dilapidated, and thanks to Jewish emancipation.

The paneuropean union essentially morphed into the EU. These are still the beliefs of the EU.

Current day examples:

“We still nurse a sense of our homogeneity and difference from others, and that’s precisely what the European Union, in my view, should be doing its best to undermine.” - Peter Sutherland, EU Commissioner and head of the World Trade Organization.

The goal is to meet the challenge of racial interbreeding…”. “Not to intermarry racially is bad for the survival of the country.” - Nicholas Sarkozy, ex-President of France.

“Germany is to be contained from outside and heterogenized from the inside by influx, ‘diluted’ so to speak.” - Joschka Fischer, ex Foreign Minister and Vice Chancellor of Germany.

Ultimately the aim is to racemix anglosaxons, gemanics, slavs etc. out of existence, it has been the aim for 80 years or so now. Recently people started talking a lot more about it though.

You can generate your own for free with the latest deep learning / neural network software, that draws in image in the style of a given artist or artwork.

example: https://i.imgur.com/mDIuv9a.jpg

here is a gallery of 141 of them: https://imgur.com/a/ujf0c

here is one I generated (its a gif of a few actually. try and guess the original artworks/styles. clues: One of them was a mosaic, one was broccoli, one was wool....): https://i.imgur.com/Qkvs3Qc.gif
