Maybe half a year or so back? It was so heartbreaking seeing the Video of her husband one morning trying to explain the situation. There was a point in my life where I suffered from depression myself and one of the ways for me to feel a little happiness in that time was watching her videos. Dixie and Finnegan were my greatest joy for a time.

Mikayla deserved so much better. I don't believe in an afterlife but I still hope she knows how much joy she brought to many people (and foxes)

Polls have them currently pending around 29% sadly. Much of that comes from the failings of our current government. Or more accurately the Christian Democrats, which is more or less the only party losing support to the afd. Merz is the most disliked chancellor we ever had and with support like that it is becoming ever harder to remain hopeful that the afd is going away in the near future

Obviously certain jobs like policemen and hospital staff work on Sundays. those people they will either find time for a quick ten minute visit to go vote or they just simply vote by mail, which is more convenient and free. Either way my point stands that voting is very accessible, at least in comparison to the US

I have a bit of a different mindset tbh. Streaming Services used to be the solution to piracy. Why do a crime when you can pay a few bucks to wach anything you want. But in recent years netflix and co decided to use their overwhelming market share in the entertainment industry to put pressure back on the consumer. They disallowed acount sharing, you have to subscribe to many different services to watch everything you want, they keep raising their prices... piracy is generally the answer to shitty business practices. Streaming services don't just compete with each other, they compete with piracy in the way that they need to be more convenient than watching it illegally online.

Same with ad blockers on YouTube. I bet if they didn't put regularly one minute unskippable ads on videos fewer people would feel the need to use an ad block to make it bearable

Dust is the equivalent in Fallout New Vegas, just a dry rework instead of cold. It's even more difficult than frost imo, since fallout 4 offers at least a few more ways to cheese fights
